This is not just a hidden gem, this place has the best food and preparation you could imagine. The servers are magnificent and very personable. The Spicy Mushroom soup, Duck Confit and "The Steak" are my go to dishes every time!
5's all around. I enjoyed how they take your order all at once and know when to bring it out. I didn't feel rushed and was able to enjoy my conversation while eating delicious food. I had the gnocchi, mushroom soup, cod and chocolate mousse, all of which I recommend. I intended on only trying the mousse ended up finishing it all.I tried my friend's steak and was glad it wasn't my dish, only because I liked mine so much better. Interesting place. Was a speakeasy in the 1920s. It's an older house chopped up into little dining areas. The duck confit was delicious. I had the pan seared cod, also fresh and very tasty. The wine list had great offerings. I chose a Sav blanc. Mixed drinks and beer also served. My date ordered the steak. Cook to his liking. Dessert was bread pudding to die for. The have outdoor seating in season.
