Eggplant sandwich is the best; also great Italian aa well

Such a great little local Italian grocery and sub shop with old school charm. The owner was very friendly. Fresh food made daily! I had a delicious chicken salad sandwich. Will definitely return to this Italian gem next time im in the area.
Best Italian sub in the area and you can’t beat walking in to hear the owner singing!
The Italian and homemade sausage are great! Need to get back there to try the chicken parm and meatballs ASAP (the sauce smelt amazing when I walked in).
Grew up around the corner. Came back to see if the Italian sub still hits. And it does!
Stopped by. Luigi was making subs and singing opera. Total old school Italian shop. Guy before me was getting Meatball subs. Looked awesome

What amazing place , local, small, and the owner is great, really interesting Italian products. If you're in Waltham and some Italian, that's the place.
If you’re looking for top notch Italian sandwiches and specialties look no further, one of Waltham’s best ??

A classic old-school Italian grocer—right in my backyard! How lucky am I?? Lived in West Newton 5 years before finding this little gem. It’s hiding in a residential area. Really beautiful, authentic food and imported groceries. All the necessities and THE best Italian sub since Toody’s of Wakefield closed. Nicest owner. Very sweet guy. See for yourself-it’s a tiny piece of the North End right here in Newton.
