I trusted the reviews and opted to get some fried chicken to go from this place rather than a different restaurant on the same street that I usually get.It was horrible!! Undercooked in the inside but overfried on the outside. So, most likely made from frozen chicken.Also, the biscuits were extremely salty! Terrible food.

We were looking for a food chicken sandwich place and this popped up as well as Playmakers on Mood st. Playmakers was closed and I liked the ambiance of the Pollo club that we walked in. If you are looking for or craving fried chicken, this is a good place. I'd say the sides are big and also the side price is as high as it could be a main dish, choose wisely because it's a lot of food. The sauces were ok. The biscuits were dense if you like that type of biscuits. Had lamb meat balls, they were dry... we probably won't eat there again.

The fried chicken is good, but not very meaty and I think it is underseasoned. Also overpriced. New York chicken in Hyde Park is better.

Ordered online for pickup (through their website - not a third party). They did not have my order ready and didn't even know I had ordered as they had not checked the system for an online order. I had to wait an additional 20 minutes after my arrival (total wait time after ordering was a little over an hour).The chicken was great, crispy and flavorful - but the sides left something to be desired. I wasn't crazy about the mashed potatoes and there was only a tiny bit of gravy. They almost tasted like instant potatoes. The mac and cheese was good but not creamy, VERY cheesy though! You could see the string of cheese with each bite!I'm visiting the area and wanted to try local food. Not sure I would try this a second time.

I've heard great things about this restaurant and their chicken. We ordered the chicken tenders which were fabulous, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. As delicious as the chicken was, I would return just for the roasted carrots. The flavor of the carrots with the hummus was amazing. The biscuits and honey butter were so incredible that we had to get another order to take home with us.

I am super bummed. I had heard so many amazing things about this place from reviews and have waited (thanks to Covid) to eat their food. Well we picked up take out today and the only thing that was good was the broccoli salad (not pictured.) Nothing was even warm when we got it- I was so excited and impatient, I snagged a drumstick in the car. The chicken wasn't seasoned, the mashed potatoes literally cold & hard, the biscuits are dry and the macaroni tasted like nothing with crumbs on top. This whole meal is devoid of flavor and seasoning. And not even up to food safety standard of temps to serve food. Why was this food not hot upon pick up, we ordered it outside of your restaurant! I know it's hard right now, which is why I was thrilled to pay $60 for this meal for three but we are left hungry and really disappointed to have missed out on what others have raved about. Sadly this was an expensive mistake.

Been looking for great fried chicken in the area. Sadly this was not it. Dark breaded ,mo flavor ,too cooked chicken. Really expensive over cooked chicken and way too expensive just ok sides. Not worth $40 .

Really wanted to like Pollo Club but after brining home the chicken and finding it far overcooked, dry and inedible (maybe cooked twice?) we were disappointed. Manager was kind enough to bring us a replacement however, it too was inedible. Maybe a bad night in the kitchen but disappointing none the less

Definitely the hands down best fried chicken in Massachusetts that I have had the pleasure of eating! Ordered the half chicken and it was almost literally a chicken that was cut in half. I was super impressed because most places would give less for more. The drinks here were pretty good too! The cookie for dessert was a little burnt and the milk that came along looked/tasted weird.
