We were looking for a food chicken sandwich place and this popped up as well as Playmakers on Mood st. Playmakers was closed and I liked the ambiance of the Pollo club that we walked in. If you are looking for or craving fried chicken, this is a good place. I'd say the sides are big and also the side price is as high as it could be a main dish, choose wisely because it's a lot of food. The sauces were ok. Ordered online for pickup (through their website - not a third party). They did not have my order ready and didn't even know I had ordered as they had not checked the system for an online order. I had to wait an additional 20 minutes after my arrival (total wait time after ordering was a little over an hour).The chicken was great, crispy and flavorful - but the sides left something to be desired. I've heard great things about this restaurant and their chicken. We ordered the chicken tenders which were fabulous, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. As delicious as the chicken was, I would return just for the roasted carrots. The flavor of the carrots with the hummus was amazing. The biscuits and honey butter were so incredible that we had to get another order to take home with us.
