The gentleman working there was unprofessional and demonstrated a shocking lack of courtesy. I merely asked for a menu recommendation, and his response was so hostile that I felt compelled to leave. I cannot recommend this establishment based on this experience.

Roksana Restaurant is a hidden gem for anyone who loves authentic Persian and Middle Eastern cuisine. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
I highly recommend trying the chicken kebab—it’s juicy, perfectly grilled, and served with fragrant saffron rice that ties everything together. The portion size is generous and the taste is outstanding.

This restaurant was one of the first Persian take-out places I tried when I moved to Boston in 2018. I was blown away by the variety and quality of their food, which really comforted me when I felt homesick. Back then, I would buy a week's worth of meals and keep them in the freezer. I even ordered a large number of dishes for a gathering I hosted.
I moved away during COVID but returned to the area this year. Today, we ordered a few small dishes: Ash (a type of noodle), Halim, and Kashkbademjoon. Unfortunately, except for the Halim, the other dishes were disappointing. The Ash was overcooked and had a burnt mint flavor, while the Kashkbademjoon was overpoweringly garlicky and off-putting. This is not how this place used to be, so I believe the quality has gone south.
