Food is so yummy. After just landing in Boston, the buttermilk pancakes and steak with eggs&potatoes really hit the spot. Server was wonderful.

The food here is always delicious! Eggs are cooked spot on, every single time. The specials are creative and delicious! If you're a water drinker, your table is given a chilled carafe of water that is replenished without request. Your delicious, well balanced coffee is refilled without having to hunt down a server.
The staff here is extraordinarily well trained and work as a team to ensure you have a great experience. The owner is typically at the door to greet you on the way in and acknowledge you on the way out.
Although the building looks like a diner, this is anything but diner food and service! There are varied home baked tea breads and breakfast muffins to choose from, complex specials, upscale ingredients and did I mention the well trained staff? You will never be surrounded by dirty empty dishes or an empty glass. When your electronic check is given to you, no one hovers. You are given the privacy to check the bill and add a tip privately.
I hate to share all this...it may cause us to have to wait for a table in the future. But it would be stingy to not share the accolades of this wonderful breakfast and lunch spot.
Their weekly specials are so very creative.
Think, multigrain toast, slathered with mascarpone, topped with caramelized onions and roasted tomatoes. Served with assorted greens with bright fresh cherry tomatoes and slivers of shaved parmesan in a delicious tangy vinaigrette. Hello Sunday!

While in the area, the wife and I decided to try this place based on Google reviews. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. She suggested the outdoor seating and it did not disappoint. We really loved the food, service and outdoor seating. We'll definitely come back.
Parking: Street parking may be a little tough. You may have to walk a little.

Really great egg, white omelette and fruit cup. The home fries were awesome and I had a mint tea. My server Juliette is friendly prompt and courteous.
The food was ready very quickly and the place was full!

We called ahead and were able to get a spot in the waitlist- we lucked out with a table becoming available right when we arrived! Our server was so nice, food came out FAST, and was delicious to boot! Would absolutely return if we are back in the area.

Expensive and kind of mediocre food. It came out quickly which was nice, but $32 for breakfast was OUTRAGEOUS. I tried it. I wasn’t disappointed by the food just shaken by the price. I’ll be going elsewhere for breakfast.

Some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had ? We came at a busy time but the staff were super friendly and efficient. Atmosphere is the perfect cozy diner experience. Definitely coming back, a new favorite breakfast spot in the area.

LOVE diners. REAL diners...and The Diner IS the real deal. Yes, Ma and Pa...younger version. Serving REAL coffee. But to the food. DINER food to the tee. Diner prices to the tee...reasonable at that. No add on extras or fancy fusses to pump the prices...JUST good food at fair prices. Once in awhile there is a 'winger' like lobster benedict at $20+ but...you have it and know...it's worth every cent. Comfortable atmosphere with a touch of 'funk' both inside and out (Patio - Sweet) seasonal. Charming staff makes up for the time spent looking for STREET parking. LOOK it up on line to know what to look for in advance.
