“I love StockYard. We haven't been in a long time as we moved faraway. Now, after 10 years we came back and it was like we never stopped coming to eat here. The food was super delicious. I decided on fried chicken and fried vegetable rice, which turned out to be an awesome choice. The rice came out first, and it was fantastic. The chicken was perfectly crisp, just the way I like it, even though I didn't request it that way. The customer service was top-notch—very professional. I only interacted with one staff member, but the service was fast, and I didn't have to wait long for anything. I highly recommend you try their food. I'll definitely be coming back. “As someone who has Celiac Disease, I greatly struggle with finding good and safe places to eat.
Let me just start by saying, the staff here is beyond knowledgeable about their food, the ingredients, and with food allergies. I felt safe and secure eating there with my partner and some friends (two of whom are also Celiac). I ordered a caprese melt on gluten free bread with tater tots and chipotle mayo and immediately they were able to advise me that the mayo and the tots were NOT gluten free. They were able to offer suggestions, such as their chowder soup or their pre-bagged and sealed chips.
They were also amazing in asking if I had celiac or just a preference. They changed all of their gloves and utensils and prepared my food away from my partner’s food which contained gluten.

Honestly such an amazing place to eat. My partner and I have been saying how this very well just may become our favorite place to get dinner out!“

“Cacao is a small cafe located in Newton Highlands, specializing in chocolate related confectionery and drinks.

We came in during the afternoon, and it was quite busy but the staff were very accommodating and knew the menu quite well, recommending some things to try out. They had a large assortment of pre-assembled goods to buy, such as chocolate covered nuts, as well as hot chocolate mix.

We tried the hot chocolate and the dulce de leche. The portion size was reasonable for the price, and the chocolate was pretty good. The hot chocolate was made primarily of dark chocolate, which isn't my favorite, but turned out to be a good choice as it cooled down and became more rich.

“Absolutely my favorite place for sushi when adding together freshness, service, and timeliness. After moving to Massachusetts from Florida, there has barely been any place with real flavor up here. After checking the reviews I saw this place might have some potential for a good price. It’s a small restaurant with a few tables, and the perfect hominess. We wanted to go out somewhere for Valentine’s Day with our baby, not somewhere too crowded considering she’s in her chaotic phase, and we went here. We got a maki party platter for us and a chicken teriyaki for the baby. It’s an adult portion so we decided to have something for her to have lunch and dinner with the next day. The sushi came out and it was so amazing and honestly super fast too. Then came the babies plate, it comes with a miso soup so we were able to get her to try it and she loved that. Then we cut up her food into bite size pieces and as we were preparing it, even though I personally hate chicken, it was SO FLAVORFUL!! We had to keep going back to her plate for tiny bites because it was delicious, the chicken was NOT dry and it felt so clean and refreshing each bite. Then when in regard to the service, WOW the waitress was absolutely the sweetest ever, was so interactive with our baby and attentive to us. Our new regular place for sure.“

The parking here is not great, though take-out orders are available. The inside is quite spacious, with a bar section as well as multiple seating in the back. The staff are friendly, and they pump out orders very quickly even when they have many orders to go through.

I typically eat here for lunch, and have tried multiple different options. I found the clam chowder to be average, the bread included was a bit too hard for my liking but did go well with the clam chowder. The Buffalo Chicken Mac n Cheese is really good, it's one of my favorites to get. The breakfast bowls and salmon toast is also very good as well.

Overall, its a great place to visit and eat for a casual brunch or maybe a quick dinner.“

Our go to’s are the butter chicken which is incredibly smooth and flavorful and the Matar Paneer. Make also sure to try their garlic naan and mango lassi! The restaurant is very spacious and I appreciate that you can have a good conversation at dinner as it is not noisy. Service is attentive and friendly! Give it a try!“

Rocco’s then delivered a large caramelized onion, and gave it to us for free (we owe you a double tip next time, my husband forgot in the confusion).
