The gelato here is some of the best I’ve ever had and we are always excited when they open for the season! The dark chocolate is my absolute favorite- it’s so rich and dark more like a chocolate sorbet. Every flavor I’ve tried has been really good. The little shop window is cute too and you can sit on the benches in the shade.

Gelato joy is a Wellfleet gem! Every year I am amazed to see the new flavor additions and the growth of the shop itself. The owner and family are incredibly kind and pour their hearts into this wonderful shop. Gelato joy is the perfect name because this spot truly is a joy!
Dietary restrictions: All sorbets are vegan! The gelatos, even flavors like “Cookies & Cream”, are gluten free as well. They offer a variety of milk options (skim, whole, almond, oat) for café drinks.
What a treat! Beautifully smooth Gelato with fantastic, strong flavors. The dark chocolate is an experience! The staff was just as sweet, happily entertaining our many sample requests. The perfect way to end the day or have an extra special afternoon.
