UNCHARACTERISTRICALLY LONG WAIT. Usually good, fast, friendly. Today we were there THIRTY MINUTES waiting for four sandwiches. New staff still learning the ropes, which is understandable, but at least a dozen other sandwiches got made for people ordering •after• us before we got our four. Hope this process improves considerably in the next few weeks...
if you aren’t SLURPING down a cup of CLAM CHOWDER from box lunch wellfleet edition… you are a fool!!!! don’t miss out!!! best chowder ive EVER HAD.
My favorite sandwich shop when we visit the cape. The staff is friendly and the sandwiches are delicious (my favorite is the John Alden). The only downside is that it gets very busy and there isn’t an online ordering option.
