Solid solid bbq. Smoked chicken (if you can get it before it sells out!) is outstanding. Brisket: ditto. Pulled pork, fried chicken, fish n chips, homemade pickles, cornbread, slaw, sauces, smokey beans. Creative cocktails that pair thoughtfully with the menu; an extensive Amaro selection. Friendly service; everyone is treated like a local. This place is a gem. Live music and picnic tables outside in season.
We stopped in during an off-season trip (November). I had brisket and my wife had ribs. We both loved the food. During our visit they were having trivia night and while we only got one or two right we enjoyed the quiz as the questions were great. We wound up calling the family on the way home to see if any of them knew the answers to some questions. Very friendly. Casual atmosphere.
We had the smoked wings and they were fabulous. I had a Caesar salad with pulled pork. They ran out of a lot of menu items, pulled pork was one of them, so I swapped with pulled chicken. Still very good!! The wait staff was apologetic about the menu. The ladies room was clean.

Do not sleep on this place. Stopped in for the first time today for lunch around 1:30PM. Sat at the bar the food and service were excellent. The chicken wings were amazing!! Will definitely be going back. Shout out to the bartender that was working today (9/8) she was beyond attentive and very polite!
Self serve dozen outside tables - order at window - pick up at window to right. About an 45 min wait for food. Make sure to ask for appetizers first or all food comes out at once. bring bug spray. one person bathrooms. Brisket rub is delicious. side portions are small. smoked beans are ok. mac and cheese ok. Slaw very good. Could be spicier. Local sauce is good. meats drive the 5 star food.

Homey atmosphere and delicious barbecue. Super cute staff too! We came at 8:52 scared they were not going to let us eat but they were a delight. Would highly recommend the pulled pork and their bbq sauces. Their ribs, collard greens and mac and cheese were excellent too.

Food wasn't too bad, menu is very limited, beer selection sucks. Can't even get a Heineken! Service was terrible. Hostess had filthy shoes on and was about 13. Had 4 people taking care of us because the waiter forgot about us.
