A taco never made me sad, until now.
My fiancee and I decided to try a new restaurant last night and chose Mamacitas.
Upon arrival, the place was adorable! The girl behind the counter was sweet as pie and it smelt so good in there. We ordered take out. I ordered 2 empanadas and the birria tacos and he ordered the tacos del mar & Tierra, and churro fries. When we got home and opened the bag, the empanadas were swimming in a half inch of grease, so were the birria tacos. Both dishes were soggy, inedible and falling apart. The tacos my fiancee ordered were the wrong ones, so we switched. He got chicken instead of beef & shrimp and though aesthetically pleasing, they were so salty that I gave up and had cereal for dinner. Though reasonably priced, not recommended.

After having some pretty mid experiences from takeout in the area… i was not disappointed! Mamacita bowl ingredients were fresh, ready for pickup in under 20 min just as i ordered (a bit heavy on the onion but it didn’t bother me). Can’t wait to try something else from here!! Well done.

My friend recommended the empanadas and I don’t know why I waited this long to try them! They are the best empanadas around here that my girlfriend and I have had! We got the chicken, beef, and cheese with the nice aioli sauce on the side. Delicious!

My stomach is doing a happy dance now, perfect lunch! I’ll have to get a burrito or asada fries sometime cuz their menu looks fantastic!

If you are hungry for good quality food and wish to have it fast and at a great value....GO HERE NOW. It's NOT a chain. The food was cooked fresh on the spot and was so incredibly good, I will probably be back every time we are in Worcester. I got the ground beef Mini Empanada and the ground beef Mini Taco Cup. Friend got 2 tacos - chorizo and carnitas. Both were very good. The crust on the empanada was so good that you can tell it's made in-house. Their house sauces and salsas were amazing. The taco was LOADED with meat, and the meat was very juicy and seasoned to perfection. I highly recommend trying this place.

Was very surprised to see this business here in West bolyston. Usually, I have to go to a taco truck to get something similar.

This is beyond a normal taco. I feel it's artisanal, more higher end.

Crispy flour tortilla, intense steak and shrimp portions, great toppings if you prefer.

Margaritas are good, not strong tasting, frozen was less sweet, not frozen had more flavor partly due to being ice and not frozen.

Ordered fried ice cream because it's Mexican, so that's a staple brought over to US.

Disappointing Experience - Overpriced Tacos

I paid $20 for my tacos, expecting a flavorful and generous serving. What I got was a lackluster combination of chicken, corn, and onions that were literally the size of my head. I'm shocked at the sheer audacity of serving such a subpar dish, especially after requesting extra jalapeños and "everything" on it.

The only thing that was spicy was my frustration - my blood was boiling at the thought of being served such an unacceptable meal. Needless to say, I won't be returning anytime soon.

Love this place, the food is really fresh each time and the staff is extremely friendly. I rave about this place all the time to my friends and family. Definitely a hidden gem, go and check it out!
