This place is unique. Started in 1911 frequently by police and fire department personnel. Has an incredible history. Stories you can almost not believe but they’re true. The wonderful hostess behind the bar told us lots of things about the place. The burgers were excellent. The only strange thing is it’s cash only but they did have atm.
Put it on my favorites list for whenever I’m in Springfield

What a place this is, great friendly service, had two nights in Springfield on recent vacation across from England visiting Massachusetts for the World Cup, ended up in here both nights, food was top quality, chef was great and the beers were ice cold, thank you :))
