The atmosphere and friendly service of an out-of-the-way, no fuss seafood joint with the freshest menu and legit kitchen to turn out winning dishes every time. Don't tell any one ;)
My adult daughters and I stayed down the street for a week so were able to visit The back eddy a couple of times. The food and service were great. The second time I really wanted a lobster so spent the $45!! However, for that price I’m surprised they can’t throw in fries and coleslaw!!! Ridiculous
We went during the weekend between lunch and dinner and it was a sunny but not hot day - since it's located on the river bank the seafood is fresh, and so are the oysters.
My wife tried a new oyster typeand she didn't like it, not because it was bad but because it was very briney, something she didn't expect in oysters but apparently they are for these types, and I had the fish and chips - and as much as I dislike fish, I ate every iota of mine.
