We dined here for our anniversary. This restaurant has the ability to cater to those celebrating special occasions, as well as the locals enjoying a casual mid-week dinner. We very much enjoyed the ambiance. We started with a couple glasses of wine and a 1/2 dozen Duxbury oysters. We asked the waiter if they were Island Creek, and he said “no, they are Duxbury oysters.” We didn’t push him on his local oyster knowledge ;) But they were especially delicious with the watermelon...read full review
This place has always had delicious, high quality home style Italian food. The gnocchi with braised beef is fantastic. The lamb is also great when they have it. I am not a fan of the salmon.

The gnocchi with braised beef is fantastic, while the lamb is also recommended. The commitment to quality is evident, as seen when the chef sent a second order of calamari to the table. The Duxbury oysters with watermelon mignonette are especially delicious, and the scallops and bolognese were absolutely delightful. The crème brûlée is a treat to round out the meal. Overall, Chiara offers a great dining experience with delicious food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere.
