“Please be advised that on March 17 a patron of this restaurant had a bad experience. She proceeded to post about it on Facebook and several friends stated they were going to give Root 20 a bad review online. I have no problem with someone sharing their experience, but it’s not fair if people who have never visited write bogus reviews without having, a first-hand knowledge of the restaurant. It’s great to look online and be able to see what others have thought of a restaurant but, sadly, as with all things Internet related, there are some false reviews. I frequently visit route 20 and love the food and the staff. The owners are incredibly generous to , the community both in Wilbraham and Springfield. I am a public school teacher and route 20 has been very generous to my school and others.“
“The Lighthouse used to be a solid if unspectacular dark bar. The addition of three golf simulators has added a new wrinkle. The simulators are very good. I believe they are the Trackman brand. The service can be slow. During the week they usually only have a single bartender. The food is just bar food, items that be heated up in a microwave. It’s a decent spot and they also have a pool table or two. Customers are friendly and it’s a decent spot.Parking: Parking is very limited in the lot but on street is available.“
“My 1st actual visit they get busy quicker than you can blink. The atmosphere is a real chill vibe, family-friendly environment. The food is served in huge portions. I had a long hair in my slaw. She took the food and didn't charge me. But gave me 2 drinks for the next visit. Honestly, the food was so good and service that I would've been fine with a remade order. I'm definitely coming back.“
“Hey, what's up, up north? I've missed you It was almost like a second home. The kitchen is new, to me anyway. I will have to get back there to check it out. But the drinks were great, service was on time. All in all, one of the best bars that I have been in.“
“I grew up going here with my aunt back when I think the guys name was Jim who owned it. Buy three time I was 18 I was going there myself lol. Things haven't changed much. Everyone know everyone it's a place to have fun with new and old friends!!“
“Foods pretty good but can get loud from tables being very close together and acoustics being wonky.. wife and I had fun cupping our hands behind our ears to have a conversation ... live music is very nice though! Hostess forgot to assign us a server and we waited at the table an additional 30 minutes on a busy “
“After visiting the Hangar I understood why some men end up losing there families over a bar... There is really no reason to leave. Amazing, amazingggg food thats worth selling a kidney to buy. Local sourced brews, they got a pool table and an arcade. And they got califlower wings so you can tell your wife you had a salad.“
“It's a fun little establishment to hang out on the outdoor patio with friends on a Friday after work. They have live music, but left before the musicians started.Ordered a couple of apps - fried pickles and bourbon wings. Apps were served fast, fresh and hot. Robust portions are great for sharing.Bartender was the only one on site - she juggled inside and outside quite nicely. Checking in frequently on her customers.“
