The Barn Kitchen & Bar Reviews
We tried to have brunch at 1:00 last Sunday and were told (rather rudely) that they were only allowing guests with reservations. The restaurant was empty. Many available tables yet we were turned away. Embarrassing. Won’t be back soon.
The quality of the food was not worth the price
The swordfish special was bland and had to be sent back because it was cold.
A cozy/welcoming environment.
They can handle large (private room) gatherings.
Has a Full Bar, TV to watch the game, friendly staff with a great menu with delicious entrees or just a quick bite to eat.

The Barn Kitchen & Bar offers a welcoming and high-class atmosphere with a good selection of appetizers and entrees. Standout dishes include the Allen Brothers steak, short ribs, fish and chips, and Caesar salad. The tempura cauliflower and burger special with bacon onion jam and fried pickles are also popular choices. The Mac and Cheese, though slightly loose, is flavorful, and the grilled asparagus has been praised as excellent. The Summer Lobster Roll received mixed reviews, being described as just okay. The restaurant features well-balanced, chilled cocktails, with the Old Fashioned being a highlight. The indoor-outdoor setting and lovely landscaping create a warm and inviting environment suitable for both visitors and locals. The staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful, making special occasions memorable, as seen during a recent anniversary celebration. The menu includes vegan options beyond salads, and the food is consistently fresh and flavorful. Customers have praised the great staff, food, service, and ambiance, noting that the focaccia was great and the salmon was perfectly prepared. The bolognaise was also highlighted as excellent, and staff are helpful with special requests, such as creating unique cocktails. Despite its somewhat misleading name, the restaurant is a place of fine dining—wonderful food, good prices, and outstanding service. The ambiance is casual yet upscale with a cozy feel that encourages lingering. Service is often praised as excellent, and the indoor-outdoor setting makes it a versatile spot for both locals and visitors. Overall, the food and service are highly praised, making it a place customers are eager to return to. Recent guests also noted the exceptional service, cozy spots for groups, and creative, delicious food from their expanded menu. The restaurant is praised for its beautiful setting in a great part of town, with veggie-friendly options and friendly, helpful staff. The warm and welcoming environment, especially during celebrations, adds to the overall positive experience, making it a favorite spot in every season.
