“Everything about this place (except the staff) was a mixed bag. I had a chicken parm sub, a chicken parm calzone, and a pepperoni pizza. The chicken parm sub, the chicken was a little too juicy, strange problem I know, but the cutlets were too thick, so they held a lot of moisture and made the bread soggy. Their marinara is pretty thin too, not my favorite, but that's definitely a preference kind of thing. The bread is all fresh baked, and the parts that weren't soggy were absolutely fantastic. The pizza was nice and crispy, fairly thin. good balance of the cheese sauce and greasiness from the pepperoni. But somehow it just didn't have a lot of flavor. It wasn't awful, it just wasn't great. I mostly blame the sauce, it just didn't have a lot going on with it.The calzone..... well it was inedible by the time I got home. 100% a me thing, but I've got a lot of sensory issues when it comes to food. I hate super greasy stuff on my fingers, and there are certain goopy textures that will induce a gag reflex on me. They do the classic italian style calzones as opposed to your typical pizza place style. It looked great. But they put some garlic butter or oil or something on top of it. So I already don't want to touch the thing, but I used a fork to try and eat it anyways. The top of it has such a thin layer of dough (which is usually a great sign with calzones), which you normally expect to be slightly crispy and chewy. But the butter or oil or whatever it is just turned that thin dough into a nasty soft mushy goop that I just couldn't eat.I really, really wish that they would ask if customers want that, because it isn't really something I expect on a calzone and it looked so great.“
“First time ordering after getting menu in the mailbox. Ordered small cheeseburger with fries pizza. Added lettuce and bacon. It was fantastic. Good distribution of meat and other toppings, our customizations were honored without question. I will be back!“
“First time here - it was delicious. So much food, and the focaccia bread to start was phenomenal. The salads were generous portion sizes and kitchen had no problem adjusting a menu item for dietary restrictions. I had the pizza which was delicious (easily some of the best thin crust I've had in a while) and my husband had the bolognese (which he devoured). Our waitress Sofia was great too, very attentive and had good knowledge of the menu items and recommendations. 10/10 will be coming back!“
“We absolutely love it here. Every single one of the staff is amazing and the service is impeccable. We’ve created a family by coming here so often and they truly treat you as one of their own. If I could give this place a million stars I would. Doesn’t matter what you’re looking for; whether a family-friendly place or a night out with friends, Rocco’s is the place. I can’t recommend it enough.“
“We have been testing out all of the local pizza spots for months trying to find the best one and I think we found it. Being from NY, I have high standards for pizza. While the sauce was a little sweet, it worked well and the crust was PERFECT. Also had the eggplant chicken parm calzone that was pretty loaded. And the garlic parm wings that were hot and crispy and delicious!“
“Celebrating the birthdays of 3 family members, our party of 10 ranged from 4 to 81 years of age. From the moment our waitress, Selesia, introduced herself to us, until we left the restaurant with a hug, her attentiveness and patience was exemplary. The food and ambiance were outstanding. The appetizers, antipasto di Norcino, calamari and bruschetta were delicious. Entrees that we had included the braised short ribs, which was so tender no knife was needed, gnocchi, bolognese and calce di pepe were all thoroughly enjoyed and no "doggie bags" were needed. I highly recommend Il Ponte and we will return.“
“My fiancé and I hosted our first family meet and greet dinner here on a Saturday evening. They typically wouldn’t have allowed us to do this due to the space constraints and the busyness of the restaurant, however, we got so lucky to be able to secure a date! The food was so delicious and the restaurant staff + owner (Cristiano) were so lovely! Thank you so much for a beautiful first time family experience! We will be back!!!“
“The food here is amazing, like really the food is incomparable to anything else. everything on the menu is 10/10 and the people are so friendly and so kind. They are so charismatic and talkative and make you feel very at home. There’s not enough stars to give them :)“
“Very authentic Italian food. Neapolitan influence to be specific. Generous portions. Good wine and amaro list. Very nice staff (made authentic carbonara & amatriciana for me upon request). Ragu' alla Genovese, gnocchi alla Sorrentina and zucchini blossoms are amazing and definitely unmatched. Bravi! See you again tonight.“
“Party of 4 - we had a 6:30 reservation and were seated promptly. Service was great. Very attentive waiter. All of us enjoyed the apps (eggplant rollatini and brushetta) and entrees. I got the chicken, broccoli and penne in Alfredo sauce and it was so creamy and delicious. Martinis were top notch too - espresso and strawberry lemonade. Highly recommend.“
“This place is both so comfortable and so classy at the same time! Service is wonderful, the staff members are so very friendly, and the food is delicious! Ava and Kathy made the evening so enjoyable! This is definitely a place for us to visit again!“
“We had reservations for five people at 4:30, prior to a show at the Chevalier Theater. Matteo was behind the bar with Julie. They were both friendly and fun to talk with. The food was excellent and was brought out quickly. Couldn’t ask for a better dining experience.“
“Romantic & cozy atmosphere with great food and attentive waitstaff!! My girlfriend and I came here for an anniversary and mistakenly stayed until they closed (I thought they closed an hour later) and they still allowed dessert to-go and didn't rush us. We both really loved the grilled eggplant special they had! Would definitely recommend for a date night or special occasion.“
“My wife and I went here last Friday night with friends and we all Loved it!! We thought we would have trouble getting a table but that wasn't the case, surprisingly. Because the service and food were both excellent. Our server was great. He made our drinks as well and my wife said her lemon drop martinis x3, were to die for. He brought fresh warm rolls to the table, and we got the octopus and bruschetta appetizers that were very good along with a side Caesar salad for the table. Then ALL our entrées were DELICIOUS! My wife and I both got the chicken parm and she couldn't even come close to finishing hers. The cutlet is nice and thin, and more than half the plate. The red sauce has good flavor w penne pasta. The portions were worth the money. Our friends got the seafood medley, and a marsala dish that were also both very good. The only draw back is the atmosphere and location aren't the best. I really hope this place stays open or finds a little nicer location, because the food and service are Top Notch and well worth it. Give them a try, you won't regret it!! We'll be back soon.“
“Anthony your ambiance and culinary expertise is beyond insane. The presentation of the Antipasto Board amazing. Cherry Stones & Shrimp fresh again presentation beautiful. Veal Saltimbocca melts in your mouth. Wow just an incredible night with clients. Janna “
“Excellent service- I had the chicken Marsala $18.00with $2 up charge for the homemade pasta. It was really good. My daughter really enjoyed the meatball sub. The waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu. The desserts looked amazing but we were too full from the lunch. The coffee, it's not a new pot it's a keurig of some kind so I passed on the after dinner coffee.“
“We ❤️ Al fresco s. Fine fresh Italian cuisine. The best in town . They got a market also that you can grab some pre made lunch or dinners. Also so fresh. Call place your order you pick it up then. Lil shopping at market ?Parking: Alfresco s is very busy but they have off street parking. You don't wait more than a few minutes for a spot. People are dining in there s pickups then shopping at the market but the turn around is pretty fast so no worries ?“
“The staff is always great. From friendly reception and hosts and every server we have ever had. Jackie is especially great and thank her for being attentive to our requests. Always friendly and appreciative of us dining there. The Lamb Shank special and Lobster Fra Diavlo was fantastic.“
“Didn’t get a before photo but the after photo tells the story!! The Market Al Fresca in Tewksbury - four cheese lasagna - I don’t usually comment on other peoples lasagna because I like mine BUT this was absolutely delicious, so tasty and packed with cheese. Half of this tray fed three adults (it’s about a 6x9 tray) I can’t wait to try some of their other dinner offerings! I might never cook again!!! And they had gluten free offerings also. Of course I left with just baked bread still warm snd dessert as well. TRy it out I don’t think you will be disappointed!!!“
“The tasting menu was delicious and the wine pairings perfection. Our waitstaff attentive and knowledgeable and friendly but never overbearing. We are and have been fans of this place since it opened and are thrilled that it remains so good and so popular“
“Eight of us went for dinner last night for the special Lobster Menu posted on their website for Wednesday nights, but unfortunately they no longer offer it. We ordered off the regular menu and everyone enjoyed their meals, so it wasn't a total disappointment. Our waitress and the other staff members were great at getting everyone's meals out at the same time. We asked for separate checks beforehand and our waitress was absolutely fine with it. I definitely recommend Gaetano's! The free parking lot in the back is an added bonus.“
“The staff is always great. From friendly reception and hosts and every server we have ever had. Jackie is especially great and thank her for being attentive to our requests. Always friendly and appreciative of us dining there. The Lamb Shank special and Lobster Fra Diavlo was fantastic.“
“I picked the place at random because it was close to where I was staying and I'm glad I did. The staff is efficient and friendly. The menu offers quite a few choices for such a small place. And the food is excellent. I had the scallops the first night. They were quite fresh and well prepared. Tonight I'm having the muffuletta and it too is delicious.“
“We went here for my birthday dinner on a Monday. We sat at the bar booth. This place was the perfect spot and I will undoubtedly be returning. The owner curates a perfect little safe haven for guests. The music was phenomenal, service outstanding, food to die for, drinks exquisite, and atmosphere classy. My new go to Italian. For apps we got the arancini (must try), wagyu carpaccio (must try), melanzane fritti, for dinner arugula salad, tagliatelle alla genovese (must try), burrata ravioli (must try), and for dessert the apple filled doughnuts (must try). It will be so unbelievably hard for me to return and not order the same exact menu items but I also can’t wait to sample every inch of this menu.Parking: Plenty of parking“
“This little restaurant is incredible. A friend recommended it to me about five years ago. It was about a 50-minute drive from where we used to live to get there. We took the drive to check it out, and we loved the place so much that we continued to make the trip. We moved and now have an hour-and-a-half drive to eat there, yet we still make the drive. If you want excellent food and portions at more than fair prices, check out Nappi's, and I'm sure you'll fall in love as we did.“
“My first time at Bobby C’s and it was delightful. I’ve been living around the corner for a while but I never checked Bobby C’s before and I regret it so badly. The mussels in white wine and garlic sauce was something unexplainable, calamari perfectly fried to keep the tenderness, chicken parmigiana and the stuffed chicken breast was unreal. All unbelievably delicious and flavorful. The drinks were a must, and the big surprise was the to go dessert we took home, we were LITERALLY OMG at every bite. I regret not ask our server’s but if you go there and see this sweet lady with gray short hair and a bright smile, she is the one. She said that the desserts were backed by her and she gave us some biscuits to our little baby pug. Bobby C’s is a gem and it’s been a very long since the last time I felt motivated to write a review but they deserve 10 stars for every second we spent there.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible“
“Overall a nice dining experience. Food and Service was top notch. I know it is tough on management but the only drawback was a large, extremely loud, party of around 10 people who were more suited for the pub than a fine dining restaurant and they disturbed some of the guests.“
“OMG, The italian sub is full and I mean full of top quality meats. If you order a large you can not finish it in 1 sitting. I always thought New Deal in Revere set the bar on Italian subs but Anthonys takes the prize on this one. PS. I heard the eggplant parm sub is also the best you ever had! Worth the drive from any where!“
“As someone who worked at Angelina's in high school as my first job, I still love coming here for dinner as it has a family atmosphere and delicious food. The martinis are the cheapest in Tewksbury but they don't cheap out on the liquor. I highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious Italian food at reasonable Prices“
“Been to Raso's countless times and will continue to do so. It is bustling every night of the week. Perhaps the packed bar is in part due to their broad martini menu (haven't tried a bad one yet). But everything about it is exactly what you want for an easy-going Italian restaurant in Medford. The vibe is comfortable - a friendly crew of staff who will happily recognize regulars, always good tunes in the background at a respectable volume, nice decor but no frills. Parking lot is small and cramped. In the evening, people tend to take their chances and park in the right lane of Mystic Ave, since the lot fills up. Now that I've explained how Raso's passes the vibe check, and implied that you could simply have the time of your life consuming their martinis and nothing else, I'd also like to complement the food. We get the grilled artichoke appetizer every time (sometimes two or three orders of it) and it is fantastically tender, with a light lemony dressing over a bed of greens. We clear the plate every time. Before Raso's, I never gave artichokes a second thought, but now I dream of them. Have legitimately called in a to-go order of just the artichokes. Anyways, great arancini as well, great pasta and seafood dishes, and you can order a breaded chicken cutlet with most entrees, which is nice and crispy, but also huge, so be warned. They're always trying new things with the pizza too - classic kind of crust with a tiny char on the edge. They even have some real Italian desserts, like Spumoni! Some people will say the food is average. I say, if you're looking for some kind of revolutionary experience, you're simply in the wrong place. Raso's experiments within the bounds of a classic Italian-American menu, they do it with class, and the staff are genuine. My humble suggestion is that they don't change a thing. Vivi il Raso's.“
“Entered this place on Friday night and took a seat at the bar. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the bartender promptly welcomed us, acknowledging that she was a bit overwhelmed but assured us she would attend to us as soon as possible. Despite a potential shortage of staff, the bartender remained friendly and attentive, and the food exceeded expectations. I would strongly recommend this place!“
“If you think it's too much trouble to make homemade cheese ravioli then go to Bella's for the best cheese raviolis for a great price! They have so many amazing Italian products that it's hard to leave the store without buying lots! The only thing is-bring cash. They do not take credit cards. The advantage is it's keeps costs down. Great prices for great products. Not to mention the friendly and sweet owners who always takes a few minutes to chat with the customers.“
“This is the kind of place you feel great when you walk through the door. Not fancy outside, but walk in and the place was hopping. Great food at reasonable prices and you won't leave hungry. My wife had the Fried Haddock Sandwich which has a great crispy breading and is perfectly fried (and huge). I had the French Onion Soup to start and the Marinated Steak Tips with rice. Both were great and the tips were cooked a perfect medium rare. The pour of the house Chardonay was generous and was tasty. The one negative (not enough to knock off a star) for me was the draft beer choices as there are no local craft beers to choose from, but a 20 oz Sam Adams for $5.50 makes up for it.Not on US1 but still pretty easy to get to. Will be back as the menu choices are extensive and want to try them all.“
“We go to Nella's Pizza at least once a week. It's my kid's favorite pizza place. They are by far my favorite non-wood burning stove pizza place. Everyone is extremely friendly and I've never had bad service from them. During the summer they also sell Gelato which is a nice treat on a hot day.“
“Wow is my first impression. We just moved to this area from Las Vegas and chose this as our first meal to try and we were not disappointed. First, that bread!!! With the toasted sesame on top w a little butter had me begging for more. Being our first time here we chose the Italian platter that was insane huge and only $22.99!!!! Full side chicken parm, eggplant parm, one meat ball, one sausage and lasagna. The sauce is top notch for sure as was each bite of each item. My husband prefers a meat lasagna but combined with the meatball he was for sure satisfied. If I had to pick one that item I could do without and that would be the eggplant parm but that's a personal preference. In the end 10/10. Will eat again. And to top the food, the service was outstanding as well.“
“Went for dinner on a quiet Wednesday night. Had the mussels as an appetizer - flavor profile was really good. Both entrees were very well prepared and tasty. Had the seafood entrée with gnocchi. The gnocchi were delicious. They say all their pasta is made in house, and I could tell the gnocchi were handmade and fresh, not commercially prepared. A big plus! The other entrée was with linguine, again made in house. Big plus #2!!“
“Ever since I moved to Vermont, I've missed Boston pizza and subs. I found them right here in this small shop. I ended up with two huge cheese slices and an Italian cold cut. I ate it all. No regrets. The owner told me to take my time as she delivered a bag for leftovers. Not needed. No regrets. This is pizza that you don't stop eating when you're full. It's that good. And the sub -- perfection.“
“The level of service was exceptional. Our waiter, Alan? Was perfect. All staff that addressed the table were professional, yet friendly.Paul, our sommelier, elevated the night to a level that most strive for but few achieve. He made our night. The food quality, prep, timing and quantity were spot on.Tuna tartare was so good.Rib eye and aged sirloin two of the best cuts ever and Pittsburgh style was a game changer. For sides we had a baked potato, garlic spinach, roasted potato and Italian style corn and all were very good. Solid 5 star night all around.“
“Went here on a Friday night. A nice cozy atmosphere that was relaxing. Wasn’t too crowded. The crowd is older which I love. The food was great and well priced. Felt like a great value. They have a lot of different Italian dishes, and combos if you want to try different things all at once.Bread and oil to start! The waitress was extremely nice, and she genuine and attentive. Don’t get service like that many places anymore.Parking and getting out of the parking lot when it’s busy can be difficult, but worth it. Just be patient.“
“So glad I found Sylvios. Working nearby on a long term project and the food is priced right and the quality is top 3 in my lifetime for a pizza/sub shop! The owners clearly have the utmost pride in their work and it shows. Highly recommend.“
“Such a great experience, our server Jenn could not have been more accommodating or friendly! Highly recommend the Tuscan wings and the Melanzana pizza pizza, wow! You won't regret it. We will be back, regularly. Also great coloring books and crayons which with our kids goes a LONG way!“
“I've been going to Mario's for probably 20 years and for standard, economical Italian fare it can't be beat. No reservations taken; in Lexington you go to the sign-in book, put down your name and the # in your party, and wait to be called. Long time customers know the best times to go to get seated right away; be prepared to wait most weekends at dinner time. I've sampled several things on the menu and my go-tos are either chicken parm with meat sauce (you can get everything marinara if you prefer) served with shells (you can choose spaghetti if you prefer) or pizza (best sauce ever) loaded with sausage, extra cheese, onions and black olives. All the portions are plentiful (I always take half home for leftovers) and always tasty. I've had the lasagna, which is huge but lacking in enough sauce for me (I'd order extra sauce if I were to get it again) and the ravioli which I have no complaints about. Bread is served to the table in the form of fresh rolls. I often get a side salad for dinner and did so last night. It's usually fresh and tasty but for some reason at 5pm the salad I served was limp and tasteless. Maybe left over from another day? The service is impeccable. The waitstaff take orders, deliver to tables, keep track of who's waiting to be seated and deliver them to a table when one becomes available. Orders are taken quickly, food is delivered hot. Fun fact: often during the summer students on vacation are working there, which makes for fun small talk. As you can imagine Mario's appeals to everyone; families, couples, singles, so don't expect a quiet, romantic ambiance where you can have a leisurely meal and a private discussion. When full the place is very lively. There is a large metered parking lot (2 hr max) directly behind the restaurant and a larger one behind that if you want to, say, also go to the Lexington Venue (movie theater) or visit the many shops in Lexington Center.“
“This neighborhood pizza spot is a convenient option when you’re wanting a pie and friendly service. I’ve had the Caliente, Capitol, and Daniella pizzas here in the past and while the crust is good, I will say the toppings are plentiful and they bake them under the cheese. This seems small but keeps everything from sliding off your slice. There are plenty of pizza options on the menu, available in 12” or 16”, and all at a reasonable price! The people behind the counter are always nice and there are a few small tables if you want to dine in.“
“Another great collab with Visit North of Boston , this time to Davio's Lynnfield .That tuna was AMAZING, table side cheese grating is a must, steak was super tender and look at all those desserts. And now the Affogato is the new trend, and I am on board.More to come...Featured:Davio’s MeatballsTuna Tartare, Avocado, Citrus Ponzu, Davio’s Herb Pasta ChipsSampler of Spring Rolls — One of Each Roll Chicken Parm, Philly Cheese Steak and Buffalo.8 oz 55 Day Prime Aged Strip Steak with David Bieber’s Crispy Onion RingsAffogato — Chocolate, Hazelnut Gelato, Chocolate, Caramel, Hazelnut BiscottiBaked Alaska – Red Velvet Cake, Strawberry Gelato, Cream Cheese, Berry Coulis“

“I came in with my family and bought 2 slices of pepperoni , one slice of cheese pizza and a fried dough. Pizza are huge and great plenty of cheese and meat. Fried dough is awesome. While we wait for dining inside the employee gave us some amazing crispy French fries for my daughter no charge. That was very nice of them. The workers there checked up on us making sure everything was okay and it’s awesome that they do that. Small place though but quality is what matters. This is a great place and yes I’ll always agree that this is one of the very few places that are amazing. Definitely worth coming backParking: Street parking“
“This place is truly an Arlington gem. The chicken parm sub is a steal. it’s much fuller than it needs to be, but that’s because the people here are so loving and generous towards their customers. But my favorite is their spinach and cheese calzone. I ate it in one sitting - need I say more? This place is a hole in the wall, comforting, good neighborhood joint. It does the people of Arlington proud.“
“1st time visit certainly not the last Fresh hot rolls smaller than bertucci but you can have more drinks all good with average pricing although not listed Fried calamari light and tender comes with tomato sauce to dip great flavor Veal Oscar was delish Braciole special was great will be on menu next week as a standard“
“I've been eating there for 30 years. There must be new owners the food is still good and the subs are still huge but the prices are also huge and they don't give you as much as they used too . However I enjoyed my large chicken cutlet sub that was supposed to be toasted with extra cheese however no extra cheese not toasted it was still good. The ends of the sub roll completely empty no meat.“
“Recently hosted a bereavement meal at Tremezzo for the grandmother. Everything ran very smoothly and the food was excellent. Margie did an incredible job. She was always available to answer any questions or concerns leading up to the function.“
