“Great spot for the area! Trendy, bright, and eclectic. Doubles over as a coffee shop before 4 (at least on weekdays). Wide range of beer options, from New England IPAs to barrel-aged options (barleywine and a millet ale were on tap recently). Friendly, inclusive staff. Chill or meet up with friends.“
“Great vibe and lots of board games to entertain. We were a large group and easily got a place here on a Saturday evening.I would like the beer menu to be more diverse, strongly IPA based. Nothing on the food menu. They had a pop up food stall. Nothing for the vegetarian. Pop corn on their menu was packaged one and was selling for $8. I think that’s pricey. They do encourage you to order food from outside though. However, some finger food on the menu would be ideal.“
“Trillium never disappoints on beer but, in the past, I have had a bad experience with the food. Over the few years the food has drastically improved and is now very good. With their great food, great beer and family friendly environment, I think it's hard to not have a good time here.“
“Great brewery. The beer was awesome Northeast IPAs as well as a couple of West Coast. The bartenders were awesome especially Brian wealth of information around the neighborhood too. first time in Boston he hooked us up with a couple other good restaurants.“
“One of the best breweries in Boston with the coolest vibe. The beers are super fresh and they have such a great variety between IPAs, lagers, porters & sours. Super friendly bartenders and a beautiful, spacious patio which is perfect for the warmer months. Plus they have great coffee!“
“My mom hosted my Bridal Shower in the private room at Night Shift Brewing's Everett Taproom and it was a dream come true! The space was recently renovated and looks amazing! Table/Couch configuration is customizable and Night Shift provided a few folding tables as well.My shower was in February and Valentines Day themed, I am *still* hearing from guests on how great the space was, how everyone enjoyed their drinks (& were so surprised Night Shift served more than just great beer!), and how wonderful Mike and the rest of the NSB team was!“
“I love this place. It's the place to go to chill with friends and have a good time. It's not too big place. You may feel like your friend's home to hang. I love it so much. The staffs are so kind which might make you feel like home. The beers are so good and sure you would be tipsy easily by tendering and caring of the staffs. I would be back here for food which I did not try this time“
“Notch Brewery and Taproom in Salem is a must-visit for beer enthusiasts. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, perfect for hanging out with friends enjoying beers and playing games. The brewery offers mostly Czech and German style craft beers, each brewed with care and attention to detail. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to recommend a new brew or answer any questions. Plus, the spacious taproom provides ample seating, making it easy to find a spot even during busy times. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to enjoy the outdoor seating. Keep in mind that they do not sell beer flights. Overall, Notch Brewery and Taproom is a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy some great beer in Salem.“
“Fun tour, we did it early morning. Needless to say, we had a good buzz by noon. Tour guides are awesome and friendly. At the end of the tour, they give you beer to sample. You get to keep your sampling cups, very cute. We had the privilege to sample 3 or 4 beers, I don't remember. There is also a gift shop and a "bar" where you could drink, not included in the tour. I would highly recommend this tour while in Boston.“
“What a great brewery! I was looking for somewhere to play darts that's family friendly (what an oxymoron), and this is your best bet in the greater Boston area. The dart board is on the opposite end from most of the arcade games (though the basketball game nearby does make a good racket when in use) and there's very little competition for the sole dartboard even on a Sunday afternoon when the brewery is pretty busy. Plus, the dog friends you'll inevitably find from fellow customers are a perk :)“

“oh my gaaaawd ? the food here is freaking AMAZING. I will be thinking about it every day until I return. Literally some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in my LIFE. Bao buns ? tacos ?? chicken sandwich ? EVERYTHING WAS FIRE ??? (beer was good too lmao)“
“My husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner at Break Rock Brewing. It was an absolute hit! We are huge brewery people and this place was right up our alley. It is right on the boardwalk of the beautiful Marina Bay with stunning views of the marina. They reserved an area for us where we had plenty of room. They don't serve food, so we had our dinner catered by Fat Cat right around the corner. Their beers are delicious and their staff is super friendly. The planning process was incredibly easy and their event manager was very responsive and transparent throughout the entire process. They also had a live DJ and arcade games which were a huge hit! Highly recommend hosting your event here!“
“If you are in Boston, definitely make this a stop on your itinerary. Two of the nicest guys (Alex and Alex) took the time to explain their history, brewing process, and flavor profiles of their beers! The facility is clean, welcoming, and a nice spot to just chill with a cold brew. Thanks guys for your hospitality to the two Jersey Boys….will be back sometime soon!“
“Welcoming, clean, and a beautiful beer/selzter/cider selection. I had the mango peach selzter which was crisp, light, and not too sweet. I tried the cider which again wasn’t too sweet and actually tasted like apples. Queer friendly which is difficult to find out this way, so I think I’ll definitely be coming back. Perfect place to grab a board game and spend some time with your buds.“
“Had a company holiday party here, and the private space in the back was perfect! We had around 100 people, and the space/seating availability was just right. Pickle pizza and churros were a hit. Staff members were helpful and friendly. Would recommend renting out this space for anyone throwing a party!“
“Now, I normally do NOT like any IPA's but I was at the packie yesterday getting some lagers like the regular beer guy I am and someone who works for this company overheard me saying I hate IPA's and gave me that Sluice Juice IPA tall boy and I gotta say this is the first time I've ever enjoyed an IPA and the Lager you folks make is also very good. I didn't even touch my Sam Adams last night cause the fella gave me a few beers to try. I am now gonna buy the local brand from now on! I will still enjoy a Sammys but at the pub from now on, my fridge is gonna have Bent Water in it. #SupportLocal“
“Absolutely LOVE it here. I take a road trip down from NH to the Cider house roughly every other month to stock up on flavors that I can't find in NH.This trip was awesome as I was chatting with the ever sweet and super personable Rasheen who is the manager there. She is incredibly nice and we love hanging and chatting with her about new flavors coming out and what may be discontinued. I get so happy after a 2 hour drive to see that she's working, it makes the long ride all worthwhile.See you soon Rasheen, thank you for everything!“
“Love this new location easy to get to from my apartment and went there with a friend for dinner. Their Buffalo Chicken Pizza is the bomb and a must try. Also their Pina Colada was great that I ended it doing two rounds. Being on two floors there is plenty of space for big gatherings or small because on the second floor there is a room that can be closed off with a private bathroom. I already have plans to go back again soon. In total there are four bars. One on the first floor and three on the second floor.“
“That the young man overseeing the entrance and merch counter was reading Sartre’s The Plague was a good sign. So was being located along and near the end of the Somerville Community Path, at least to this cyclist in need of a pit stop. There are three standards by which to rate a microbrewery: food, physical location and quality of beer. Since I only had time (and good sense) for one marzen lager at the bar (tasty and refreshing), and tried none of their food, I can’t rate their beer or food. However, as a place to hang out, either inside—open but small enough to seem cozy, or outside on the patio overlooking The Common, it rates a 5.“

“Night Shift at Lovejoy Wharf is a fun treat. I typically come here before a Bruins came to grab a beer and some food. Night Shift is, of course, known for their beers, and on that front, this location does not disappoint. Anyone who even remotely enjoys beer is very likely to find something on the menu- a mixture of mainstays and rotating offerings- that they will like. The menu is thoughtfully curated, and everything is decent to great. I especially like any of their baked goods, like the giant pretzel and the flatbreads. It can get extremely busy and chaotic during the TD Garden event windows, and this does impact the service and the ambience, but if you're feeling a little generous in terms of time and noise levels, you can't really go wrong in terms of a pre or post game spot for a bite and a sip.“

“It's right in front of Quincy Market, so I stayed there during the day and went to have a beer at night. As soon as you enter, there is a goods shop on the left such as tea, cups, and dolls. The store has two floors and is very spacious!A DJ plays songs on the stage downstairs. The song selection was good and the atmosphere was great.I tried the Best 4 sampler of beer, and beers 2 and 4 were the most delicious. It's a shame I couldn't order a larger portion because I was full.I recommend it to anyone who wants to go to a pub in Boston!!I think it would be perfect to have dinner at Quincy Market along the route.“
“This brewery was cute but I struggled with the live music. I was sooo loud it was really hard to hear anything. I liked the arctic chill seltzer that they served. I wish that they had more non alcoholic options besides polar seltzer though.“
“Mar2024:Enjoyed the vibes and local beer I heard was good. They have this cool machine to make your own non alcoholic beverage. And the live music was nice as well with food spots to eat from if hungry. Took us forever to locate this spot but eventually we made it.“
“Drove up from RI for the Daikaiju/Eight Foot Manchild/Matt Heaton & the Electric Heaters show on a Wednesday night 4/24/24 and had a most excellent time. Surprisingly parking was not a problem as there is a decent amount of free public parking after 6:00 in the lot behind Citizens Bank across the street (this is Medford after all ). The performance room looked like it could hold a couple of hundred comfortably (standing only no seats) while there was an adjacent bar room with a good sized bar and several tables. Deep Cuts is also a micro-brewery which offers about a dozen selections; the Brown Ale and Cream Ale I purchased were solid. Unisex bathrooms were pristine. I could write a separate review on the bands - the openers were locals from Medford, and Daikaiju are a national touring band from ??? specializing in surf/metal with an emphasis on audience participation, to say the least. It was the most fun I've had on a Wednesday night in ages. As someone more famous than me once said, "I'll be back..."“
“Beautiful spot that integrates well with the adjacent food hall. Solid range of their beers on-tap, although I'm not sure if it's the full menu vs primary locations. Can't complain, with several varieties of wild-fermented ales plus crisp IPAs. Plenty of sports-themed merch. Minor irritant: no tabs, just pay per visit to the bar.“
“I usually only come here for dinner and I'm glad that I finally stopped for brunch. We stopped on a Saturday afternoon and ordered the following: Chicken and Waffles, Hangover Burger, Margherita Pizza, and Gluten free breakfast pizza. The chicken and waffles offer a great blend of sweet and salty with a large portion of chicken. The burger looked delicious and the pizzas were both amazing. I also ordered the Progression beer which was a tasty NEIPA. I love that they kept the decorations of the bank with the vault and the chandeliers. Especially cool how the vault can be used as a private dining room. The server was attentive and checked up on us often. Glad I was able to try this place for brunch. Hoping the White Bronco cans make a come back!“

“Best wings I've had in the greater Boston area. The cheese curds are delicious. Tots were perfect, and the burgers are huge and delicious. Oh yeah, they brew great beer too. Got their Schwarzbier at a local liquor store, best one I have ever had outside of Deutschland. Their house red is great, and the hazy IPA growler I got was delicious. All in all, will be heading back, and I hope they're looking to open on Tuesdays.“
