Always great pizza and the specials were very good this time. More food than you can finish on one sitting but great day 2
We went to Polaris Restaurant for my husband 's birthday. It was different than the last time. We were seated up stairs, which was unexpected. The waitress was nice and accommodating. But I noticed the table was dirty, and needed to be cleaned. Another server cleaned the table and apologized. My son who has lactose intolerance we had order him a pizza without cheese. The waitress was lovely, and understanding. Even the Manager was accommodating, by making sure about the pizza was cooked properly. The food was good, I got grilled chicken with broccoli rabi with potatoes. My husband got Italian sausage and peppers. I would like to see more for our value. One thing I would change is up dating the decor and making ot more modern Italian. Old style seating could do improved. Would come back maybe for another celebration.
The fried artichokes we ordered were soggy. Fettuccini pasta was nice, but the Veggie Pizza with Artichoke was soggy. The crust was not well done. When pointed out, the manager was able to replace our order and provide a new one. The calamari ordered was good. I didn't like the food and felt it was overhyped.
Saturday was not a good night at Polcari's. Our poor server kept apologizing for the long wait. It took 40 minutes to get our eggplant appetizer. We had a 6:00 reservation and did not get our meals til 7:20. The server said they had too many take out orders. I'm not in the restaurant biz but I would think the kitchen would coordinate with management and tell the takeout orders they'll be an hour vs the people sitting in the restaurant waiting. An elderly couple came in well after us and the server had to tell them it's an hour for food. That should be the job of the person seating the couple. They would have left had they known earlier. A kind diner offered her garlic bread and spoke to the front desk about it. Poor management and coordination all around. My daughter's meal came out wrong and my lasagna was cold on the bottom.
To start the server was not really a server she was a pawn hi what would you like are you ready I had a problem she really did know how to address it after a few a manager came to the table and saw what really was a problem asked me if they could cook some thing else I said no because what I started to eat made me sick so had had coffee and desert the server still in her other world not at Polcaries she she back and said done ready for check we had to say we want desert and coffee ok again came back and you ready for check The manager was very nice he removed my meal off check as far as lunch specials little on the high side what I ordered was chcken parm it was $17 deserts were $8 total for 2 deserts one meal Coffee came to $60 And they don't even serve rolls in an at italian restaurant I might go back
Xavier, did a great job taking care of us! Great portions, great food, our go to place for pizza!
The food was amazing, We ordered pasta and pizza and both were fantastic. The service was great. The staff was able to handle a busy dining room with ease. I highly recommend eating here. I cant wait to go back.
Not what it used to be. It's certainly a Place for big parties/families Has an interesting vibe that is old school and maybe feels familiar. But the lack of attentive service was a let down. Didn't get enough water throughout the night. Had to wait till end of meal. Calzone dough was under cooked Mozzarella triangles lacked the flavor they used to have. Overall not worth it. Prices don't match the quality.
The food and service were terrific. We were surprised how slow food was coming out of the kitchen.
Wonderful time with eight at our table, our waitress was efficient and helpful. I believe her name was. Had a lovely time gabbing and laughing. Very grateful that there was not music playing, which makes it much more difficult to talk and makes everything louder

Food is the closest thing to how food tasted when my family cooked. Service was decent. Though, a party upstairs made things initially a bit slower than I expected. appetizers: we ordered arincini (fried risotto balls, flavored with a small amount of meat and peas). These were excellent. crust was perfectly crisp, and inside filled with perfectly cooked risotto. The house salad is good. iceberg and spinach leaves, red onion, black olives, shredded carrots, peproncini, croutons, and dressing. My wife ordered the Sicilian salmon, crisp outside, over roasted potatoes, and topped with feta and red peppers. I had the sausage cavatappi in a cream sauce. This meal was done so perfectly! pasta , sausage, spices all perfect ratios. I was a happy doobie after this meal. I highly recommend this dish.
Went for Sunday lunch. Great service. Not rushed. Minimal wait time after placing the order. Food was good and decent portions. Disappointed no roles served with meal.
Polcari's Woburn was great as usual. Food is always excellent and always out on time. Service has always been great. Always worth the night out with friends!
Excellent meal. Great Pizzas but took over 20 minutes for dinner to arrive. Restaurant wasn't too busy for sit down dining but seemed very busy for takeout. This was probably why dinner took so long. We were ok we had drinks and salad. Server was excellent, attentive and friendly.
I always enjoy going here but the server was rushed because she had to make a flight and it showed.
