Incredible service, super easy to book a small corporate event after work, mid-week. Tasty food and really tasty beer. Hidden Gem, will be back and will recommend!

Double-Check Your Receipt vs. Credit Card Statement

A friend invited me here, and while the outdoor seating was nice, the billing experience was concerning.

The setup is a little different: if you want a beer, you have to go up to the bar (I tipped the bartender there). For food, you scan a code at the table to place your order. A runner brings your meal, but if you need condiments or water, you have to get them yourself at the self-serve stations, which are in two opposite directions. I don’t mind this kind of system, but here’s the issue:
They automatically added a 15% tip for the food runner, even though no one came back to check on us and we had to get our own items. I selected a custom tip of zero since I had already tipped the bartender. My receipt clearly shows “no tip,” but when my credit card statement came in, it showed that a 15% tip had still been added.

This also happened to my friend—he is the one who told me to double-check my receipt against my statement. Sure enough, the same thing happened to me.

Because of this, I had to file a dispute with my credit card company for the tip amount. It’s very concerning when your receipt doesn’t match your credit card statement.

Excellent place with a great selection of beer, ample parking, variety of food options and lots of seating both indoor and outdoors!

Just tried midnight, rodeo stout I guess a pecan oatmeal stout beer. It was given to me by the staff when I was there working on their Ovens. This beer is fantastic. Absolutely fabulous thank you very much to the staff. Thank you for making such a fine product. Excellent.

Now I need to know where I can purchase some locally in North Shore mass or southern New Hampshire

Overrated. A flight (6 beers) came out to $28.70. Insane. Guess they automatically tip themselves here too… beers were solid but not worth that price.

We enjoyed our time at this brewery! Many beer on taps to choose from to build a flight of 6 beers! We had a half Margherita and half sausage pizza, perfect for sharing between a vegetarian and a meat-lover!😋

We appreciate the efficiency of this place so much!!!! Basically you can order food from the table, browse the beer menu with QR code then order at the bar.

Food was good. Staff was a little luke warm to start maybe because they were busy.

My husband and I hosted our wedding celebration for around 90 people at Lord Hobo in June 2025. It was a beautiful day so we were able to open the doors to the patio. Booking the bar and patio was perfect for our party size and we could have comfortably had more people. The area was easy to find when walking in, but definitely felt private.

The bartenders were so nice and helpful. We had an open bar and full dinner menu - when the food ran out they quickly had more to set out so everyone was full and happy. We were able to book Non-alcoholic drink packages for famliy members under 21 and those who don't drink. There were so many tasty beers on tap and a cider option/house wine options for those who don't love beer or carbonation.

We were able to play our own music through their Spotify - we had asked beforehand so were able to set up our own Spotify playlist to use with their tablet so no one had to use their personal phone.

Overall, an amazing event that was very chill to set up with their event coordinators and ran smoothly once we got there! A beautiful space with super tasty food (highly recommend the brussels sprouts) and amazing drinks.

We hosted a work party here, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. It was so easy to plan with the event menus, and the staff was very accommodating. The space was perfect for our group. Renting a typical space with round dining tables often lends itself to people sitting in the same spot the entire time, with little to no socializing. The long bar tables encouraged people to mingle, and everyone had a great time. The food was delicious, and they kept bringing it out! They even gave us take-out boxes to pack up the leftovers for guests to take home. The tap choices were amazing, and the non-beer drinkers enjoyed a few other options as well, so everyone was happy. Not many of the guests knew about the venue before this event, but many said they planned to return. In my opinion, it is a bit of a hidden gem! We will definitely be back!

Hi. I visited on the evening of the 16th and had a great time with my group. At closing time, I paid $48.68 and $134.44 with my card. The next day, the 17th, I was charged an additional $134.44. I think I was double charged. Please check and take action.

Great beers and awesome food. The pizza , wings , chicken sandwiches are all awesome. The bar staff is nice also minus the one guy who constantly is yelling for you to “clear the walkway” that’s the only spot you can buy beers from at the bar. It’s either a terrible layout (it is) or the guy needs to calm down. Yelling and moving people physically isn’t something people want to deal with having some beers and eating food

I hosted a baby shower (Jack and Jill & kiddos) at Lord Hobo Woburn with 65 people of all ages. It was held in the Tap Room and was spacious with plenty of seating and room to mingle. We had Open Bar, pretzels, salad and pizza. Later we served cake and cookies. Jake was our dedicated bartender and he oversaw the food delivery so something was always fresh on the table. He went above and beyond to ensure a great party and I can't recommend the venue and Jake/Team enough!
