We love to try out local breweries and had to give this one a try. Pros: the beer was good. Cons: it’s basically a Chuck E Cheese that serves beer. Babies, toddlers, strollers, kids EVERYWHERE. I felt like I was going to be given a balloon when we walked in. Hard time finding space for 2 adults. Probably won’t go back.

Went in last night with a couple friends because we saw a promotion for ordering a certain beer and getting a free complimentary glass that comes with it. All the attendants at the bar expressed the fact that you should only hand wash the glasses which was great because I'm sure a ton of people go home and throw them in the dishwasher. But we love going to the Lord Hobo, we've gone there for Star Wars trivia and can't wait to try out more in the future.

Beer flights were excellent and the pizza was really good too! Can get very crowded, especially with all the babies and their carriages ?

Delicious beer. The Life Pale Ale is one of my go-to beers. I'm not sure if it was an error, but the price for a growler refill of the Life Pale Ale was amazing. Don't DUI, and get a growler to go. They do a nice job filling growlers here. They sometimes feature beers from other breweries, last summer they had this delicious beer from Brazil on tap for a little while.

On holiday and tried to go to Lord Hobo for dinner and craft beer on Saturday, February 3rd at 5:30pm. The place was swarming with babies with strollers and children, whom took up half the seating. There was also a birthday party taking place for a one year old, where half of the party using up space were children. We had a beer while we waited for a place to sit, but it was so loud with children running amuck that we decided to leave instead, very hungry. Big disappointment. There should be a significant amount of designated space for adults only like Bissell Brothers does. Love the beer, but the visit was such a disappointment.

Have long history with this place, as I often visited before they could even sell their beer - they didn’t have a license at first so had to give samples away to build a following. So that was good. But then recently went to their sister site in Cambridge where they charged me $11 for each beer (plus tips), probably to make up for all my free tastings. Still not worth it, though.Today I stopped by the actual brewery in Woburn, and while pleased to see they finally added food other than pizza to their menu (which at $23 for a small, I wasn’t going to buy), I was not at all thrilled with other options. Tried the wings, which definitely needed extra sauce to taste good, but I really resented having to pay 50 cents for slightly more than a full teaspoon of pretty boring sauces. I won’t order food here again. Ever. The beer, though, at least the Galactic Vagabond, was exceptional. Most of my circle of friends have grown way past their Boom Sauce, which used to be our staple, but their newish ones have never urged me to order a second. I did this one.One final note to describe something that has bothered me from the very beginning of this place - even when the beer was free - is the crowd in attendance has never been my crowd. So many other breweries have a very diverse clientele - but not Lord Hobo in Woburn . They have never had variety. Hard to say why, although as soon as you walk in you would understand, but I’ve been here maybe 50+ times, and I have NEVER felt at home and comfortable in this place.Nonetheless, I like their new more open to the outdoor space and may try them once again when the weather is more conducive to outdoor seating.

Wide variety of beers, friendly staff, and a food menu. There aren't a ton of options for food, but it's all tasty and well done.Update: pizza, burger, salad, and fry options for the food menu

10! Great beer! Great burgers and the atmosphere and bartenders were friendly and helpful! The beer is absolutely delicious and for beer drinkers that means a lot. The stout was like a dessert! Can’t wait to go back next year- I live in California and will be on business there in 2024!
