The restaurant was not busy. The kitchen was loud, servers were fine. The food however was subpar. The bread was heated in a microwave and chewy. The food was not what was expected for the price.

We used to be regulars pre-Covid so did not know what to expect now. Our experience was exceptional. We were reminded as to how good they can make food taste with great presentation and the highest quality ingredients. We had Lobster ravioli - home made and top notch. The Seafood Spaghetti was the highest level of that dish we have ever tried anywhere with perfectly cooked spaghetti and the freshest shellfish. The sauce was delectable. The scallop risotto featured perfectly broiled scallops and a wonderfully savory risotto. Strega is known for their steaks but we can attest their seafood choices are exceptional. This restaurant is a cut above the others.

The hostess was awful, she was mean and I inviting. She ruined the whole dining experience and it being a birthday celebration, we were not greeted in a mildly warm manner. She was cold and unhelpful. Our waiter was awesome and he made it so that we didn't walk out. The food was ok. We so much wanted to enjoy and love this place. Maybe inform your hostesses that smiling even a tiny bit might help your patrons feel welcomed.

Our fave spot on our way into Boston. The Strega team never disappoints. They went above and beyond to make sure every guest could enjoy their meal per usual - fabulous service, food and location!

My client and I ordered chicken picata. Was soupy, chicken tasted like thighs. They added pasta to absorb soupy but was bottom of the pan pasta. Not worth the price! Gave us complementary canoli but still left a bad feeling for food quality!

My husband had linguine and clams, it was not clear how spicy it was and he was not happy. I know it says some kind of chili but perhaps the menu could be more explicit about the level of spice. He did not send it back which he should have and ordered something different!

Awesome food, great service and a nice quiet environment. Definitely try the Veal Milanese, perfectly cooked!!

We haven't been to Strega in a while and a lot has changed. The food was just ok but the service was horrible. Even though the restaurant wasn't busy at 8pm on a Saturday night our server was no where to be found. When he did show up he forgot to order our drinks and asked if we still wanted them. The steak was almost half fat and a waste of $60. We found out that there are new owners and it shows. We wont be going back. There's plenty of other good steak houses in the area.

Nice decor and staff especially Robert our server and the lady greeter. Food is tasty but a bit overpriced. The wine pours are not consistent and tables are now much closer than before contributing to a noisier environment.

Food is amazing as i've always known! Our waiter seemed a bit confused everytime we ordered and never really came around to check on us and took a while to take our bill and return it. Everything was great otherwise. Although the people serving our food gave it to 2 different tables before realizing it was our food.

The hostess was very accommodating and helped us get a table earlier than scheduled. The food was amazing and our server was very helpful and super nice. We'll definitely be back!

I love the rib eye steak. Best in all of New England. I take the whole family every Saturday night.

It was a little disappointing. The drinks were small and very weak, mostly lemon. The appetizers, arugula salad and fried calamari/shrimp and zucchini were overpowered with lemon and I like lemon, but it was too much. The menu was limiting. Liked the old menu better.

I don't love the new menu at this Strega location. Our table also had trouble with out first server and he was replaced after drink orders. Thought the food was average for the price.

The state taste a little closer to Golden corral then a true steakhouse! The only thing they delivered was a disappointment.Strega prime used to be a place I love to visit, the three-quarter inch thick steak is what anyone should expect from a fine dining restaurant and paying $100 for a meal
