Meh, is it so expensive because everything comes on small plates and you are catered to as if the waiter is your friend? If you're going to spend this kind of money, you're better off going out in Boston: Bistro du Midi or something along those lines. At least you'll get a better atmosphere and people watching. Sure, at deadhorse you can dress up and sip your $17 cocktails and eat creatively made tapas, but you can do that at places that are more fun and in a nicer...
We visited for our wedding anniversary and it was wonderful. Our server Willy was knowledgeable in regards to the menu and streered us in the right direction, especially for dessert. Deadhorse reminds me of eating out in a big city like Philly !
An incredible dining experience and our server was so helpful knowledgeable and kind. He made great recommendations on wine and food pairings and we had a great time chatting with him during courses. He also made recommendations for our kids. Incredible dishes and great service.
