The location is incredibly unassuming, it's in the middle of a quaint neighborhood and can easily be missed. I was so glad my friend recommended it. The service first off was impeccable. We missed our check in time, but the host was too happy to help us and we got seated quickly. The server that took care of us could not have been nicer. She completely made it a point to check in with us and make sure we were taken care of, more than that she wouldn't let our drinks...
It was a wonderful evening. My husband really enjoyed his Father's Day meal and our server Sarah was amazing. The only thing that was a bit of a downer was the little children screaming and running around and kicking the back of our booth. But that was to be expected on such a date where families were celebrating together.
It was extremely busy when I went, but I didn’t let that ruin a good time. Good restaurants tend to be busy. A long wait speaks volumes about the place. We had a reservation and were able to be seated early! Our server was overwhelmed, but understandably so, and ended up totally kicking butt.
As far as Italian food goes, this spot does it right. Nothing had that flavor of being frozen and everything was delicious. Fresh. Hot. The calamari was perfectly battered...
