I caught this gem on a Friday (the only day they are open😅)! The service was friendly and nice. Thank you.
I recommend trying it of you are in the area.
Psss bring cash 💸 hihihi no cards allow 😄
Fish n clan bellies are A+ soon good...not a fan of them not using gloves and the size of the tartar sauce is incredibly small for the prices...tho they are reasonably I suppose...charging an extra dollar for tartar is ridiculous

Foley & Son Fish and Chips is an iconic restaurant, known for being one of the last remaining fish and chip corner places in the city. Open only on Fridays, the restaurant offers standout fried fish and shrimp, along with praised tartar sauce and coleslaw. While the fries are described as bland, the onion rings are noted as delicious.
The establishment has a small parking lot with limited spots, and the nearby intersection can make entering or exiting the lot nerve-wracking. It's important to note that the restaurant has steps leading up to the door, making it not wheelchair accessible.
The staff, including the cooks and cashiers, are described as nice and friendly. Customers have praised the visually appealing appearance of the food, though one reviewer mentioned personal restrictions that prevented them from fully enjoying the meal. Despite this, the restaurant remains a beloved local favorite, with one customer expressing their loyalty by visiting every Friday for the past 17 years.
