Funky Murphys is my favorite place in the area. Staff is really nice, the food is awesome and stays open until late at night. The atmosphere and crowd change through the week, but every day is a nice day here. Sunday nights, they host karaoke, so if you're into singing, you gotta check it out.
Funky Murphy’s was one of the only bars open at 11:30 am so we gave it a shot! They had a Monday menu special that was a great value - everything was ten bucks. My gf got the fish and chips, I had the steak tips and fries and we both had clam chowder. The chowder was my favorite - definitely seemed to be homemade which was a safe bet since we were in Massachusetts. I got a cup which was only $5 and the bowl was just a dollar more! The steak was cooked well and on a grill so...
I’ve had the Prime Rib sliders but Saturday tried the $12.99 Prime Rib dinner. Unbelievable! It was better than some I paid way more for. Cooked perfectly, mash potatoes were smooth and creamy and the asparagus was great. What a deal.
