I'll start by saying that the food I did get was delicious! However, I tried calling before I drove there and no one ever answered. I figured they were busy or closed. Google said they were open so I took a chance. They were! There wasn't 1 other customer in there and 2 employees sitting behind a station of warmed food in bins. I walked up and they asked if I'd like to order and I said yes. Then they pointed to a kiosk behind me and told me to order on that. Ok. Now... I specifically went there because I wanted to try the fufu and peanut soup as advertised on their menus online. When I was at the kiosk neither were an option, so I ordered a bunch of other stuff and asked for the 2 sauces on the side. Then I walked back to the counter and watched them put my food together. They poured both sauces all over everything. They also had sweet potatoes that I saw and asked if I could have some... since they were listed on the kiosk options. The guy went to the kiosk to try to order it for me and realized they were - indeed - not a choice. So he rang me up separately at the front register (why couldn't we just do it that way to begin with??) I spent $30 on food I didn't really intend to get - but again - it was delicious! I got the chicken, jolof rice, beans and rice, coleslaw, plantains, carrots, sweet potatoes, and two sauces: peanut and a red tomato sauce. I will go back but it was definitely not what I was expecting after seeing the yelp pictures and menus. I think they must have moved to a new location or renovated or something. I don't know. Very limited menu. I went on a Thursday night - maybe that's why.

Food was amazing as always. Its still weird to me that everything is digital but it's fine..you order electronically and there is no sit down dining, only takeout. But the food is good enough it makes up for the other stuff being so unusual.

However, I will not be back nor will I be endorsing this restaurant to friends/coworkers any longer. I placed an order for delivery DIRECTLY through their website. The restaurant then contracts out through Uber for delivery, but to be clear, if you are to login to your uber eats, it is not an order through them that you can get help with, only the restaurant is able to help with issues. THE DRIVER cancelled the order after picking up the food. So I never received my food. No way to contact restaurant other than social media. So I drove there. I was accused of lying to get free food. Once other patrons entered the restaurant she then went back on her word and made me new food. But, refused to refund the delivery fee. When I never even got it delivered! I had to leave my nursing shift to go get this food, as I do not have money to spend $30 on lunch and then have to get something else because the restaurant stole my money. NEVER did I even receive an apology for the issue. I have never as a costumer been accused of lying. And! Why would I pay extra for delivery then go pick it up, if I was lying!! Literally showed them proof that the DRIVER CANCELLED order and she still wouldn’t help me until other patrons entered. Yup. I will be reporting to better business burea as well.

Got a tomato infused rice bowl with spaghetti,corn,carrots and chicken with tomato Ragu. And added a side of chicken. Best meal I've had in long time. Completely stuffed and have enough left over to be stuffed again at dinner time. The flavor of everything is so good. The portion is huge. Tough to find that these days. Will definitely be back.

Listen... I noticed that my sun frequented this small West African Eatery. And I asked him if he'd like to go with me after one of his home college basketball games. Big win, time to replenish, right? Excellent. All in. Let's eat... He nodded in the affirmative. And we were off to the races, headed over... After exchanging polite greetings with Peter & Eleyud, we put in our orders. My sun got salmon & baked chicken with kale, jollof rice, & plantines. And since it was my first time, I asked for the same... That was just 9 days ago... Fast forward to last night. I just had to go back after my sun's next home game, met the Accra Ladies... Had to, couldn't resist. Needed to know who was responsible for putting a smile in my belly. Beauties making exquisite food. How magnificent... Most magnificent. Thank you, Accra Girls... The food is really good! Jollof rice is good grilled and fried chicken are both flavorful. Wish they would bring back the coleslaw with the jollof rice. There's not much ambiance and the service is slow.

I'd been looking forward to this visit since before it opened. The owner is one of the most unexpectedly impressive and refreshing individuals I know. The food, A1. It was delicious. Let me start with what I didn't know I would enjoy as much as I did. KALE. I don't know what they put in it, but it's yummy—perfect crunch, taste, and texture.Next, the jollof. Clearly, the chef is a grandma or aunty because, again, delicious. No spice was overwhelming. The chicken is well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. In addition to the jollof bowl, I also had a veggie bowl, which was a hit with my very picky eater husband. If you're vegan, you'll find something, vegetarians, there's food for you. Of course, for meat eaters, everything on the menu is an option. I have by-monthly meetings an hour from the restaurant (and my meeting is 4 hours from my home). Yes, I will make this 5-hour trip every other month to support this business. The owner is that amazing of a human, and the food is worth it.

This place is my absolute favorite. You can taste the love that the food is made with in every bite. The flavors are off the charts, ingredients are fresh and such high quality. Every time I come I’m greeted with a smile and always thanked for my order! The owner (I think) is a tall black man who’s so incredibly kind- I love supporting a small business!My go-to Jollof rice and 1/2 kale at the bottom, Salmon (best I’ve ever had), carrots (if I could buy PANS OF THESE I would), corn, plantains, and spicy honey sauce!
