Interesting place for sure! My Sir and I needed food after a concert, so we were grateful this place was open late. The atmosphere felt slightly drab, and the music was a little loud for my liking (ironic, I know, because I'd just come from a metal show ?), but maybe I just wanted a quieter dinner. Had seedy nightclub vibes a little bit. Was very spacious, plenty of seating. Drink menu could have used better descriptions, but! I was super impressed with the menu overall....
Food was pretty good. I didnt try too many things but i liked most of what I tried. I like the crab rangoons because theyre sweet. I also really liked the Crazy Maki (or something like that), its sushi, and has shrimp, I liked it so much I placed a second order to go. I also ordered chicken wings, but I didnt even try them because the people i was with tried them and said they were disgusting. I was down on my luck and decided to come to Mai tais and the server Taj made my night so much better. I was going through so much and he was so empathetic and understanding. I was with a group of four and he treated us with such kindness and respect. I was also greeted by Jimmy who cleaned up our mess which made my night so much better. I recommend this place. If you’re looking for a good time come this way!
