Food was absolutely delicious, service was terrific and fast. Hats off to this crew. I’d recommend to anyone in the area.

3 VISITS. 1st visit. Lobster ravioli was delicious, pasta delicate - seemed handmade w/chunks of lobster in a delicate, light, slightly herbed lemon cream sauce. I ordered eggplant parmesan which was good however wished I had ordered the lobster ravioli which was spectacular! 2nd visit. Lobster ravioli no longer had the delicate pasta and delectable lobster filling - it seemed more like shredded seafood, pasta was much heavier, and no longer seemed handmade, more like frozen commercial pasta w/lobster filling. Sauce less balanced/less flavorful. Stuffed seafood mushroom caps offered little seafood, lacked flavor, under herbed & dry. Duck was very good, one complete duck half, (as I remember), moist, tender and flavorful. 3rd visit. Duck was in small chicken thigh squared sized portions, seemed and looked like frozen pieces, dry as a bone, even difficult to cut with a knife on top of a pile of huge cannellini beans that were not flavorful and like gravel - the outer seed coat of the beans dry & the mouth feel unpleasant. No moisture or flavor whatsoever. Horrible. I asked for some sauce like what my boyfriend's ravioli came with (a special) and 10 minutes later received a small bowl of what seemed to be bullion, not the same flavorful sauce/gravy/consistency that my boyfriends pasta was served in. I passed on this accompaniment and ordered the ravioli, the same as my boyfriend had and it came w/2 less ravioli's than what his dish came with (same entree). He was finished with his meal for a long time before my 2nd entree came to our table. We will not be back. On a positive note" Our salad (arugula) was delicious, and the waiter was very nice, professional and totally accommodating. There was a man that was in constant contact with the hostess, that moved to and away from her like a beacon, throughout the restaurant, (our table was next to the hostess), who was verbal and "busy" the entire time we were dining, serving as a constant distraction. Too much for a leisure night out. We wanted our dining experience to be about us. Food - super disappointing. Parking on a trash ridden street for an expensive mediocre dinner in a loud environment no longer enjoyable. "Home James".

Food was excellent. ,Service was great. The only thing I’m not crazy about is that you have to valet your car ,will definitely be coming back.

This family run Italian restaurant was located in a very nondescript neighborhood on the periphery of Worcester Massachusetts. The facade of this restaurant was non inviting but once through the front door, everything changed. We were immediately greeted by the hostess and shown to our table. We intentionally made our reservation early to avoid the certain crowds that routinely patronize this establishment. Our waitress immediately introduced herself and offered us cocktails as we reviewed the menus. Menus consisted of a special menu, a full menu and an extensive wine list. As we relaxed over our cocktail and perused the menu, very fresh bread and garlic olive oil was consumed with delight. I enjoyed a welcome glass of dry Sangiovese wine with my meal as a perfect compliment. There were only two of us and my daughter ordered a very well prepared and pleasing Pappardelle Bolognese while I ordered the very boring but personal favorite veal parmesan over one of several choices of pasta. We enjoyed our meals but could not consume the portions and so took the remains home for later tastings. We wrapped up our meal with an almond torte for my daughter and tiramisu for myself along with espresso. We both agreed that additional trips to this restaurant are warranted in that there were so many first choices on the menu. If ever in the Worcester area, give Mare e Monti a priority if a deep menu of Italian specialties are what you are looking for. They will not disappoint and you are certain to leave fully satisfied with the depth of menu, the quality of food preparation and the level of service. 5 stars

Food was more than delicious. Appetizers were yummy as well. Tough parking and a small resteraunt but comfortable with reservation easy in and out.

I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant and experience the aesthetic pleasure of authentic, flavorful, and delightful Italian cuisine. A quiet and cozy establishment with a wide selection of dishes — delicious and unique.

We had the most incredibly meal here! Armando was our server and he was excellent. He was funny and helpful. The food we ate was delicious. We tried several dishes and each one was excellent. At one point, one member of our party actually stopped eating to take moment to reflect on her gratitude for the meal. It was seriously that good. For appetizers, we shared the arancini which was heavenly. The rice balls themselves were cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious. We also shared the Burrata con Speck e Rucola and it was also outstanding. Each flavor was fresh and perfect. Our meals included Vitello Marsala, Pollo alla Parmigiana, Gnocchi Alessia and Ravioli di Aragosta. These were all delcious, but two things that stood out were that the Marsala was very, very flavorful and light, and the lobster ravioli actually tasted like lobster! For dessert we shared the tiramisu and some cannolis. Also, their coffee was outstanding. We cannot rave more highly about Mare E Monti. It was truly incredibly. We will definitely definitely be returning.

The food and service was absolutely outstanding. Valet parking was easy to use. Very reasonably priced especially for the quality food and service they provide. So looking forward to returning and having another delicious meal. And for the finishing touch the desserts were also delicious. If you’re in the area this is a must and if you’re not it’s worth the drive. We travelled 45 minutes and it was so worth it. You won’t be disappointed.

It was a cold night, but a perfect night for Italian food, very authentic and very well done. I had the opportunity to sit in the corner and with candle lite and a bottle of Brunello di Montalcino wine and three other very special people. Waite staff is well experienced in making sure you are completely taken care of. Food gets served and it is perfect. I had chicken parmigiana with homemade linguini. I don't know about you but all I could say was " God is Good".

We had an amazing dinner at Mare E Monti. This was my fourth time dining here and I have never been disappointed. I ordered with the intent of taking my leftovers for lunch the next day, however everything was so good that I didn't have any leftovers. The wine list is great. Every meal I have had has been delicious. Service is always courteous and professional.
