Hidden gem in a residential area of Worcester. North End feel. Italian cuisine is their specialty. It does not disappoint. Great food, drink,& service. Parking a bit of a challenge, but valet service is offered

Very solid Italian in Worcester! Some dishes almost as good as North End 👀Lobster ravioli is a fave. The mushroom ravioli was not a hit though
Excellent menu with both casual and fine dining options.

Dined here last evening and the experience was outstanding. The gentlemen at valet and the bar were kind and engaging, a pleasure to speak with. The service in the dining area was excellent as well. Very nice conversational setting with nice lighting. The food was delicious and well prepared. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Mare E Monti and I guarantee you will as well. I'll certainly be back.

Had an amazing birthday celebration here! The lobster ravioli was outstanding, easily the best I’ve had. Our server Jack was excellent: friendly, attentive and made the experience even better. Loved the atmosphere and service. Highly recommend this place.

Holy heck this place was good. It doesn't look like much from the outside and it seems out of place in the neighborhood it's in. The decor and atmosphere is fancy but without being pretentious or stuffy. I would have felt just as comfortable in a suit as I did in my everyday clothes. Staff was friendly and attentive despite being very busy.
The food.
The food is difficult to describe because it was just that good. I got chicken parmesan and the first bite tasted like what I imagine it would taste like to kiss God on the mouth. I went with a 15 year old boy who is a picky eater that in general doesn't eat very much. My little dude crushed a meatball half the size of his head in minutes. Kid ate more at that restaurant than he had in the entire previous week. He got gelato for dessert and his mom got cheesecake. Both were delicious but the gelato made me believe in the existence of a higher power. 3 amazing meals, 2 life reaffirming desserts and a cup of coffee cost about $120 with a good tip and if it had been twice that I still would have thought it was worth it. I can't wait to come back again. And next time I'm saving room for the tiramisu which might just save my wretched soul. Keep doing what you're doing Mare E Monti and thank you for a wonderful meal.

Mare e Monte Italian Restaurant offers a very quaint, cozy, and intimate setting. The décor was absolutely spectacular and beautifully prepared for Valentine’s Day, creating the perfect romantic atmosphere.
We started with the Calamari all’Arrabbiata, tossed in a spicy sauce that had the perfect balance of sweetness and heat—absolutely delicious. Fresh bread was served with olive oil and herbs for dipping, which was a wonderful touch.
For my entrée, I ordered the Pollo Bronx Parmigiana, and it was truly a unique experience. The chicken is dressed tableside in a sizzling sauté pan with melted mozzarella—so fun to watch and even better to eat. The dish had a slight crunch, and the vodka sauce again delivered that perfect blend of sweet and spicy flavors.
We also shared the Ravioli Mare e Monte, filled with lobster, and it was outstanding—rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. To-go, we ordered the Lasagne al Forno for dinner later, and it did not disappoint. The sauce was slightly sweet and perfectly prepared.
You can truly tell that each dish is made with fresh ingredients and cooked with a lot of love. I will definitely be returning, as there’s so much more of the menu I want to try. Supporting local restaurants like Mare e Monte makes the experience even more special. If you haven’t had the chance to visit, you’re truly missing out.

Currently one of my favorite places in Worcester. Parking is always a bear, but its entirely worth the hassle. I love the intimate atmosphere and the food is as good as it gets. Get a Parm Bowl dish when available.
