The best lunch in town! Everything is scratch made and the woman running the kitchen is so nice and accommodating. She will make you anything to order as long as she has the ingredients.

Great little place inside City Mart. Big portions, great prices and super friendly. They even have pre-made food like pot pies etc. that you can just grab and go when you don't feel like cooking.

This is a hidden neighborhood gem! You go into the convenience store called City Mart. It's kitty-corner from Santander Bank in Tatnuck Square. Just passed the cash register is a couple tables and a kitchen. Two people run the kitchen and make everything from scratch. They make their giardiniera that tastes really good on the Tatnuck Italian sub. The soup was delicious, big chunks of vegetables, not too mushy, not too crunchy. People at lunch time that were waiting in their orders were raving about the tourtiers, which are the French pork pies. We are trying the chicken pot pies, then will try the pork pie. They will make any sandwich to order. Signs all around indicated to just ask for what you want.

A wonderful place tucked away in a little convenience store on Pleasant Street in Tatnuck Square. They have real, honest-to-goodness homemade or shopmade foods ranging from soups to pot pies to desserts to deli sandwiches. I had the beef vegetable soup and Italian sandwich today. Both were excellent, fresh and full of flavor! The lady behind the counter is a culinary wizard and a super nice person. She'll make you anything you want with a big smile. FINALLY there's a decent - actually, a GREAT - sandwich place in Tatnuck. Just go!
