My first time to Maxwell Silverman's Toolhouse so I looked it up on Trip. The plans were already made and I was a invited as a guest so I was going regardless but I was surprised to see so many negative reviews when the person inviting me said Maxwell was a local go-to place. So, I showed up with a open mind and I was pleasantly surprised. The location is great with parking. There is plenty of seating for large groups and small. The price was fair at $15.95 for a Lynch buffet. But it wasn’t really a “buffet” because you had to choose only two of the items. Not a buffet in my book. On top of that an 18% automatic “gratuity”. (I’m not complaining about the 18%, I usually tip more anyway. But if it’s automatically added, it’s a fee, not a gratuity.) But to top it off there’s a 3% admin fee added. Charge me a price. Give me food. Don’t try to nickel and dime me to death. What’s next?...read full review
