They are amazing and right on 6a, a beautiful lil restaurant!! Everyone is super nice and respectful. I’ve been a few times and will be going back , again and again!! The own is amazing and the food is even more amazing!!

Their queso alone deserves lines out the door, just like the Fluffy Seagull across the street. 10/10 friendly, attentive staff, and the chef even came out to surprise everyone with free dessert. Excellent food, excellent service. We’ll definitely be back!

Delicious food. Had tacos carne asada, wife had chicken with mango salad. All the food was great, service was good prices reasonable.

My boyfriend and i came in for the first time we had Zulo for a waiter he was great. we got tuna ceviche for an app and for our dinner, I got the steak chimichanga sooo good he got the Brisket burrito special everything was delicious. We will definitely go back

Food is amazing. It’s like going to Louis home and him cooking for you personally. Everything is made fresh, delicious and authentic. Drinks are great and great selection of high end tequila’s. We love this place and will be back with our family.

You really should have a meal here! We're on vacation from Buffalo NY but 3 of the 4 members of our party currently live or lived on the US-Mexico border in South Texas for many years. We've experienced a lot of authentic Mexican dishes down there and, believe me, this restaurant checks all the boxes.

We didn't explore the parking lot but there appeared to be enough room for the capacity of the restaurant.

The portions are generous to say the least and I doubt you could find the quality of the food anywhere else other than the Rio Grande Valley or in Mexico itself.

We visited in the early afternoon on a drizzly Monday so we were the only ones in the dining room. However we saw that a party had just left and halfway through our meal a family came in.

My wife ordered the chicken Molcajete - one of her favorites - and said it was one of the best she's ever had. My nephew and our friend both ordered the birria, which I personally had never tried. She gave me one of her tacos and OMG it was amazing! Tender pulled pork in what appeared to be a baked taco shell with a semi-consomme dipping sauce. I went for simple, Carne Asada tacos in the Golden Jalapeño style - flour tortilla, lettuce, (tomato), Jack & Cheddar cheeses - yum!

My nephew also ordered a Carne Asada quesadilla not considering the portion sizes LOL. The fridge in our VRBO has his leftovers - 3/4 of the quesadilla and 1 of the birria tacos.

I'm ashamed I can't remember the name of our server but he was literally a one-man show. He was excellent!

The owner stopped by to invite us for free tequila on Father's Day. Sadly, we're heading back to Western New York Friday.

If you are in the mood for some authentic Mexican/Tex-Mex food, you owe it to yourself to visit this place!!

Golden jalapeño exceeded our expectations again. We made a reservation for 9 for lunch on Sunday to celebrate a loved one’s bday. A lovely table was set up for us ahead of our arrival. The service was warm, energetic, and welcoming. Delicious homemade chips with salsa verde and roja. Huge margaritas with a variety of flavor options. Several unique specials, brunch offerings and menu options that pleased everyone in our group. The presentation of the specials such as the molcajete and tuna ceviche was enticing and unique. The staff brought out sombreros, a delicious dessert sampler plate and sang and toasted with us to celebrate this special birthday. Thanks to all the staff at golden jalapeño for a delicious meal, and making our celebration enjoyable and special.

We’ve eaten at every Mexican spot on cape and this is by far the best. The most authentic, everything is made in house, and fantastic service. Blows all other Mexican restaurants out of the water. Truly the best tacos I have had in years, we’ll be back!
