Great red sangria, fish and chips/tartar are fairly bland, fennel cole slaw was a hit, burger was good, pork belly and truffle fries were wicked salty (and I love salt). Pizza was perfect and the chowder was also delish.
It’s good that they don’t have a huge menu. Just the right amount to have a good quality of food. Nice variety of wines, the carpaccio and the wild boar ragout we had was very tasty. Also the service was very attentive.
I went to Grill 43 for the first time and was blown away. The dining room, bar area and outside dining are all nicely appointed to create a very comfortable and casual dining experience. The staff was very friendly and professional from the hostess to the waiter(Paul, who was awesome!) to the expediter. We had a few of their cocktails: Their version of a Moscow mule and a drink called a In-Di-Go-Go with blueberry vodka and other magical ingredients-it was awesome! Both drinks...
