Wonderful breakfast at the Ptarmigan in Churchill, Manitoba. We both had the 2 egg breakfast, and I added a side pancake with maple syrup. Dana went with scrambled eggs, nice and fluffy, and I went with sunny side up, done perfectly. Homeade toast and jam, and the best cappuccino in town. Friendly service, and a cool modern look to the restaurant.
This restaurant was not only aesthetically pleasing, but the food was absolutely delicious and everyone on staff were extremely friendly.
We went for dinner. Steelhead trout is absolutely delicious, very tender and the sauce is extremely savory. Elk meatballs and fries are also recommended by us. Falafel balls bowl and ribs are mid. However the supreme chicken my friend ordered was dry and the vegetables that came with it were flavorless and tasted like plain boiled ones. Overall good but just avoid the supreme chicken, and be aware that this place can be a bit expensive.
