I finally had a chance to try this place. It's along my way home from work, but given that it's take out only I needed a reason to stop by here. My roommate recently wanted me to bring fried chicken home, so I used the opportunity to order takeout from here. Even better that it's on a Tuesday as they have a Tuesday special! I ordered a dinner and a Tuesday special (basically snack pak but about half off). I added a side macaroni salad, just cause I'm a sucker for pasta salad. It was pretty good! Reasonable size portions, and their macaroni salad is home made and delicious. Tuesday special came with a thigh and a breast. Cash or debit only here!

Very small pieces of chicken, it was two drum sticks that looked like it came from a sparrow! We were given no napkins, or utensils, making it impossible to eat the coleslaw.

I ordered a 9 piece meal.With the sides and the buns, it was $55 when I went into pay for it somehow I ended up with a 6 person meal with 15 pieces of chicken and I ended up paying $78. I tried to dispute it. But they said that's what I ordered. Even though I confirmed at the end of my phone call what I ordered. A little bit more than what I was expecting. But I also ended up with more chicken than I ordered.They have really good chicken. I would still go back there even though there was a mix up.
The food is good. Nothing fancy but it's good. We always get the cheap Tuesday special. Asked the older gentleman for no wings if that was ok. He said "well you're gonna pay for it!". Not a problem for me obviously but he seemed a little salty about it

Pre-ordered food for a specific time & arrived to find my order was given away to a walk in. "Chickens expensive" is the reason I was given, as though I was not going to show. If so concerned, take credit card to secure order. Candy's has definitely gone down hill.
