Great menu and cheap meals. Worth a Sunday brunch or Friday dinner
I have been going to Lees for years, excellent food, great value, always hot and delicious. Breakfast is yummy, and the Bud Spud and Steak on Friday nite is fantastic. They have great people working on their team. Oh, yes and the POUTINE is the best in Winnipeg!Highly recommend going
Stopped by for dinner last Friday evening while passing through from out east, and the staff seated us right away even though the place was pretty busy. The ginger beef was easily some of the best I've had, generous portion and not overly sweet like some places do it. It's got a real laid-back, family-run kind of atmosphere, nothing fancy but comfortable and clean. Parking out front was easy too, which was a nice surprise since we weren't sure what to expect in that area.

Lee's Restaurant offers a cozy local atmosphere and serves very tasty, filling food. The portions are consistently huge and the prices are fair. The Chef makes amazing food, with specific praise for The Baron of Beef dinner, their excellent breakfast, and the phenomenal chicken sandwiches and onion rings from Lee's on the run, their food truck. The service is awesome, phenomenal, and top notch, provided by friendly, knowledgeable, very kind, and hardworking staff. The place is clean and located inside a classy legion, though some note the entrance and signage could be clearer. It is very busy on days like Friday and Sunday, which can lead to wait times, but the food is well worth the wait. Customers highly recommend it and state they will definitely be back.
