“Great-tasting chicken — the best in Winnipeg, in my opinion, and according to many people I’ve met as well! The customer service is excellent.

I don’t know the name of the gentleman with the arm tattoos, but he is outstanding. They had run out of the 7-piece chicken special, so he kindly gave me a coupon for a 3-piece snack meal at the Tuesday special price that I can use on any day. That was such a thoughtful gesture and very much appreciated.

Nothing beats Candy’s Chicken for delicious food and amazing staff. I’m more than satisfied every time I visit. Highly recommended!”

Order is usually wrong, quality is not the same, and line is usually long as one poor kid working alone. “Our server was Paige who was full of energy and so thoughtful. Made amazing suggestions on food. What stood out was when Paige and Kevin who is the chef came and presented our food. They knew we wanted to share our plates so they made two plates of everything we ordered. This was followed by Kevin explaining how he cooks the food which was mouth watering good. We had the Fish Tacos with Open Faced Steak sandwich that had this ranch truffle sauce. Made our lunch date such an culinary experience. Thank you Paige and Kevin. Also Paige suggested we take in a local baseball game since it was Friday so we can see Fireworks afterwards. Just have to love Winnipeg. A must visit if you are in town”
