“I ordered a 9 piece meal.With the sides and the buns, it was $55 when I went into pay for it somehow I ended up with a 6 person meal with 15 pieces of chicken and I ended up paying $78. I tried to dispute it. But they said that's what I ordered. Even though I confirmed at the end of my phone call what I ordered. A little bit more than what I was expecting. But I also ended up with more chicken than I ordered.They have really good chicken. I would still go back there even though there was a mix up.”

“This is for the Gondola in Birds Hill. Tonight was the first time we ordered in a while. Had a couple orders in the past that arrived pretty cold. I live 9 minutes away. Tonight it was spot on, perfect cook, perfect crust, right amount of sauce and toppings. And it arrived hot! Well done! Keep doing what you did tonight.”

“It was an amazing experience in Mesob. Firstly, the establishment is very clean, we were greeted warmly and friendly. The food is very tasty and unusual, that's what we came for. We ordered a coffee ceremony, great respect and gratitude to the wonderful woman, whose name I did not ask, who told us interesting stories from life in Ethiopia. The coffee is amazing. I wish you many generous customers, prosperity for your restaurant, we will come back to try your entire menu. Thank you.”

“Britany has come to the 'Peg in a fantastic way! Many Winnipeggers might know of the lovely little Creperie on the Provencher Bridge. I was delighted to hear that they have settled in with even more permanent roots right in my backyard of West Broadway 'SoPo' on Sherbrook. It is absolutely delightful. En pointe specialty coffee, en pointe savoury crepes, en pointe deserts and en pointe service. They have managed to take what I consider a rather cold, modern styled new building and warmed it up with all the goodness of a French Patisserie and Restaurant. Outdoor cafe tables and all the goodness of indoor seating as well. You can grab and go, or settle down for a lovely crepe meal with beverage. There was so much eye candy and love for Britany everywhere you looked. But the owners, Kitty & Yvonnick bring there love of their home town Britany together with their love of our Winnipeg together in one of the most trending streets in the city. You must check it out! I feel so lucky to have this a 5 min walk from home”

“I ate dinner at Good Lands Cafe for the first time in June 2022 and it definitely won’t be my last time here! Good Lands is an all vegan, Middle Eastern inspired cafe with gluten free options (three bowls) and the food was incredible. It’s a simple and casual place with seating inside. The owner was friendly and welcoming and he cooked everything from scratch. I ordered the Medley Bowl, which had spiced eggplant, falafel, Lima beans, spiced lentils, on a bed of lettuce with tomatoes and pickled cabbage, and topped with various sauces. The flavours were so unique and tasty! Plus, you can’t beat those prices. Where else can you get a satisfying home cooked meal for $10?! I can’t wait to eat here again and would recommend to anyone looking for amazing Middle Eastern food!”

“Yes, agree with most other reviewers, absolutely fabulous Eggs Benedict & prepared & served quite uniquely! Served on Bannock, (a nice & tasty change) but their version of hollandaise sauce is all their own and is truly divine. Likewise, for their smash potatoes, they came with an Aioli sauce drizzled over them, and the taste was different, but so so good! Will absolutely keep coming back and have also been telling everyone about this place.The space is quite small though, so is a little cramped. We were seated in front of the counter, which is near the door, and every time someone entered, which was a lot as they're so busy, it was quite chilly so that made for some of the experience not being ideal.All of the staff seemed very professional, kind, and aim to please.”

“I was only in Winnipeg for a few days and I ate here twice because it was THAT good. highly recommend the mushroom toast, fried chicken on toast, and rootbeer pudding. unique flavor combinations, excellent service, fair prices. and the drinks were great. my husband said that's the best mocha he has ever had. 10/10”

I don’t know how she makes the BEST EVER flakey, buttery, delectable croissants- all flavours are amazing .. ham and cheese are our fave. The danishes, scones, cruellers, apple fritters..AND sourdough bread ( all flavours) are nothing short of amazing !!Andy makes the best focaccia sandwiches ever… Highly recommend!!”

“Small, charming, literal hole in the wall. The breakfast was cooked perfectly and the portions were excellent. Service was prompt and courteous. The breakfast menu was a little limited. What we ordered came quickly and hot. The wife and I will return. A 4.8 rating is well earned and prices are standard for a nice breakfast out. The 2 hour free parking on the street on Saturdays makes this a no brainer for a nice meal.”

“Enjoyed a great brunch with friends this afternoon. Ordered the sweet chili lime wings, DIY salad rolls, grilled chicken and fried egg rice, and the Vietnamese iced coffee. Everything I ordered was delicious. The chili lime wings had a perfect crispiness and flavour. The salad rolls were really refreshing to start things off. Iced coffee was made just right - not too bitter and not too sweet.Can't wait to return and try more of their menu - wish I tried their beef carpaccio and their other pho dishes. All were reasonably priced.Being from Calgary, their service reminded me of home as it is family run. Entire restaurant is clean and well maintained from dining, to their cafe, to their restrooms. “We booked online for the dinner and a show both last Saturday and tonight. You can book just the dinner. It is 4 courses with delicious and thoughtful artisanal beer pairings. Pleasant and passionate folk guide you throughout.The food is exceptional and very creative. High end. Not what anyone would imagine in a brewery . Truly an amazing experience. “Never even knew this place existed, are the Iranian owners new?? Always thought it was some greasy diner. Great food, we all had burgers, hearty patties, very filling and tasty. Shakes are thick and delicious. Can't wait to come back for breakfast and make our way through the rest of the menu.”

“I've been wondering about the pizza place at the old SCUBA diving store and tonight finally tried it out; I live near enough to walk but there is ample enough parking. I got 2 Calzone's and an order of Elm Sprouts; little cheese pastries with Ham or Pepperoni in them. These are very good sides, though I think they should make a Feta cheese version and perhaps a bit of Olive Oil. The texture of the dipping sauce that came with them was a bit thin and didn't cling to the Sprouts very well. It kinda had to be scooped up. Still good though. The Calzoné could've also used a bit of olive oil, and while not soggy by any means, could've been crisper. The filling was good, generous but not so overloaded it's gushing out the sides. A bit of parmesan wouldn't hurt. I wish I'd gotten the Flon to finish, as I haven't had Flon in many years. I haven't seen Flon at a pizza joint my entire life; it is a Spanish desert not usually served at Pizzeria's. The food has a distinctively Latin feel to it, hard to place but the flavors remind me of the food my mother (from South America) made, particularly the crust. My mother used to make empanada-type meat pies that were remarkably similar tasting. I like the place and plan on trying the pizza itself next time. I kept one Calzone for tomorrow and will give it the true test, cold or room temperature tomorrow morning. Try it for yourself, really. A stanger can only convince another stranger of so much, but I'd say 4 out of 5. The point being knocked off for the dipping sauce (some basic Marinara sauce I got from the fridge was better), though that is my only complaint.”

“we had lunch today there and greeted by a waitress who was friendly and introduced the signature food, seafood shrimp ramen. the shrimp based soup was very rich in flavored. the presentation for the ramen was outstanding and colorful which is eye catching. portion for ramen was quite big! my hubby ordered the cha siu pepper soup ramen, it's mouth watering. the restaurant's decoration was cozy and cs was good,asking us for comment to make improvements. if u can provide lemon vinegar sauce would be perfect. More items to be selected such as dumpling, choice of thick noddle and appetizers etc. I love the logo design. highly recommend to others.”
