“I had the pleasure of running across this quaint little ice cream shop, with a large selection of very tasty ice cream. It was the day we celebrated Pinawa Birthday. I wanted ice cream and later went back for coffee. Our party of three each ordered a different flavour and were delighted in taste testing each others. The ice cream was so good. We had to wait our turn in the line up but it was so worth it. I went by later for coffee and discovered they were supposed to be closed an hour before that but the happy customers kept coming so she made us our lattes. There was a group of Police man after us and Julia happily served them after us. I loved the ice cream, I loved the passionate and friendly service and the lattes were very tasty. It’s nice to see a small town business being run with such care, compassion to stay over time and such a tasty selection. If you haven’t tried it yet… GO. I will be back. 😊😊😊“

“Went on a slow day so food was fast and service was nice, on busier days waits can get up to 10 minutes but staff is still friendly. Still a mall food court restaurant so surrounding area is loud but a great place if you want some fries or hot dogs.“

“I usually used to have my pizza from other location but this time I tried henderson location here, my pizza with very less cheese and extra sauce was made with handful of toppings. “I literally only go here so I can practice my french, and they help me - free of charge! BUT that being said, their laté is AMAZING. The people there are soo friendly and helpful (French and non french speakers). Also, they have started a coffee reward system. Buy 10 coffees and get one free. “The old spaghetti factory has always held a special place in my bones. Coming here as a kid was always the best part of visiting the forks. The food is very reasonably priced and you get a delicious full dinner experience with soup, bread and desert. The atmosphere is awesome and definitely super cozy. Coming here with family will definitely stay in my happy memories. My only complaint would have to be parking but it’s the forks after all. Bingus Bingus.“

“I was recommended this place by a coworker. Wow. The portion sizes are larger than expected and the price is very good. Our server recommended the Naru rolls, which is one of their more popular rolls. It's a must try. The teriyaki chicken roll is flawless, thinly breaded chicken and adds a level of crunch that I've never had in a teriyaki chicken roll before.

“Nuburger Kenaston: I was greeted by two very warm and friendly gentlemen. One of them gave me a low-down on the menu as I had never been there before. My burger (monster something rather) was huge and soooo delicious! The fries contained the perfect amount of salt and crispness…you know when the ends have just a little extra oil and it adds to the taste😋However, nothing surpassed my expectations more than the service. One of the gentlemen offered to help carry my order to the car and held doors open. 120/10!! 😉“

“I have ordered here several times and have always had a great meal, reasonably priced and generous portions.

But the real compliment is on their service. When ordering, I asked if there was any shrimp in the fried rice as there was a shellfish allergy in our group. The answer was no.

But an hour before pickup we get a call warning us that there was shrimp in the Singapore Vermicelli (which I always order and am aware that it contains shrimp,) and is excellent BTW.)

“I visited Blufish yesterday evening with my boyfriend and my mom (we were all craving sushi), and we heard lots of great reviews and word that Blufish was one of the top places in Winnipeg to go for good sushi (alongside Yujiro on Grant). We reserved a table earlier in the day online - this was a super easy and convenient option! We ended up arriving 15 minutes early and they were able to accommodate (I was 100% okay with waiting if needed, but it was great to see how accommodating and welcoming the crew at Blufish was). ☺️ First off - the cocktails. 😍 I tried both their Plumtini and Lychee-tini, and I honestly could have sipped on those all night long. Our server was really great with recommending cocktails to try as well! Between the three of us, we ordered a variety of items - from edamame beans and vegetable tempura, to sashimi and nigiri sushi, and a few different rolls. I myself have a shellfish allergy (a sin for a person who loves sushi), and the staff were very accommodating with making sure that the items that were unsafe for me were on separate plates, and they acknowledged when those specific rolls were on the table as well. Kudos to the staff - this effort meant so much to me! 🙌🏼 The sashimi and nigiri was amazing, their wasabi was great - the only items I found I could have passed on were their salmon bakudan roll, the seaweed wrap was quite chewy and not my favourite, and their philadelphia roll (again, just a tad bit chewier than I’m used to - although I will say that I really appreciated that they were open to switching out the smoked salmon for raw salmon with this roll). These are not reasons that will deter me from returning though - I will definitely come back again! I can definitely vouch after this visit that Blufish is indeed one of the top places in Winnipeg for sushi - I will agree with that one!“
