The pizzas were good, the wine was nice and both were reasonably priced, which is getting harder to find. It was my birthday, so we shared a complimentary dessert, very generously provided by the restaurant.“

Moving on to the pad thai, oh lord, this pad thai has made me a better person. It was life changing absolutely divine *drools again*

“I can't say enough good things things about Naru!! It's been my favourite sushi place in the city for over 8 years. I've travelled a lot and can say it's also some of the best across Canada as well. Whenever I try sushi from a different place, I'm inevitably disappointed. Nothing in the city even comes close. I usually stick to the special rolls, especially the Naru roll, fried house, double salmon, Las Vegas, blue mountain. The sashimi is also some of the very best I've had. Thick, fresh slices, yum!! The tempura is really good as well. I can't speak too much to the more basic rolls, but I'm sure they're great too. The service is incredible. I was there yesterday and we were in and out in an hour! We didn't rush at all, the food just hit our table that fast. I'm always so so impressed! And they always say bye when we're leaving 🥹 genuinely the best feelings when I treat myself to sushi here. May this restaurant stay open forever.“

“Nuburger Kenaston: I was greeted by two very warm and friendly gentlemen. One of them gave me a low-down on the menu as I had never been there before. My burger (monster something rather) was huge and soooo delicious! The fries contained the perfect amount of salt and crispness…you know when the ends have just a little extra oil and it adds to the taste😋However, nothing surpassed my expectations more than the service. One of the gentlemen offered to help carry my order to the car and held doors open. 120/10!! 😉“

I recently went gluten, dairy and soy free, I ordered a mixed berry pie, chicken pot pie, sourdough cinnamon buns, oatmeal raisin cookies, sourdough bread and sourdough hamburger buns.. the cookies.. to die for, the sourdough bread.. it’s killing me how delish it is.. and everything else looks so yummy I’m trying hard to space it out so I don’t put myself in a food coma.
