“My family and I dined here many, many times prior to Covid. Sunday brunch at the gates has always been a staple in our family.We attended the Sunday brunch a couple weeks ago. We were glad to see that they still offered an array of great options. Carving stations, torpedo shrimp, shrimp cocktail, salmon, fettuccine, breakfast potatoes, omelette station, bacon, homemade soup, salad bar, dessert bar etc.overall the atmosphere, service, experience and food was great!The only negatives I will point out are…1. they ran out of crème brûlée before the brunch was over. (Our absolute favourite and we only got 1 for the whole table - 7 people.. I had asked if they had anymore at 1:00, but they said they were out)2. The eggs Benedict use to be so much better! It seems as though they’re now using a “powder sauce” and making the eggs in forms.We really miss the eggs Benedict they use to make, with the homemade hollandaise sauce.Besides those two minor things, we would highly recommend their Sunday brunch to anyone!We will definitely be back for brunch in the near future!“

“The new owners are fantastic and ensure consistent product is served. Interior has been renovated so either take-out or dine-in are great options. Chicken Chef is a staple Manitoba restaurant and for good reason. This particular location is particularly better than others.“
