“Great Lil' Spot to Get some Good Grub. The Beef Dip was absolutely amazing on the Foccoscia bread BUT it's too soft for the Au Jus (just falls apart in a soggy mess and hard to handle) Definitely recommend toasting the bread longer and the Pierogies less (but that's just my opinion) They're a lil' hard on the teefers and like mine just slightly fried. Garlic Parm fries were a Unique upgrade but lacking Garlic Flavor & Value. Would be amazing vs ok with a Pinch more Parm. Atmosphere was Modern,Upgraded, and CLEAN. Loved the Huge Ferns and Cafe' aesthetic. Great Service!!! Drinks always Full. Would definitely come back to try other menu items. Menu has lots to Offer.“

“This review is in regards to Alyssa Willson. Alyssa has been a consistent leader for Joey's Polo Park location bar for as long as I can remember. Despite her many tasks in her managerial position, she still takes the time to weave through all the tables and genuinely interact with the familiar faces of return guests to really give the welcoming family feel at this locations. She is always smiling, despite the array of different situations showing from afar to each guest that everything is running smoothly from in front of house to the kitchen staff. She's an asset to the Fuller Family Group the and sky limit for this one.“

“Ordered delivery. Quesadilla was cheesy and full of lots of great hearty veggies, lots of salsa and sour cream on the side. I was craving the Memphis Rib appy and as always it was amazing. They come with a sauce on the side but they really dont need it. They're SO great on their own. Fall off the bone tender, crispy bits on the edges, just perfect. “Never do this high a rating , but it is a gem in the wall. One of top two Greek places in the city (and the other is not on Corydon). Opened at 11, full by noon. Everything that came out was fast and very well made with large portions.
First time visit, but it will be added to a favourites list for sure!!“

“This is the best sushi in Winnipeg. we stumbled upon this gem about a month ago and were amazed by how delicious and reasonably priced it is. Our second visit today was even better! Absolutely everything we've sampled is delicious; from the sushi pizza, the beef tataki, the rolls, the miso.. and the Sapporo frozen beer... 5☆. On top of fabulous food is the service! A+! I can not recommend this restaurant enough. If we lived closer we would probably be in at least twice a week!“

“Today is Lois birthday, early in our marriage (now 29 years ago) we went out to Tony Romas downtown Winnipeg for ribs and have done it ever since. Sometime, years ago, 20 maybe, while dining at Tony Romas we noticed a young waiter going around and pulling finger puppets out of his apron and entertaining the kids. When he came to our table to take our order I said “ what, we don’t get to see the finger puppets too” at which point he pulled them out and after a short entertaining display he gave one to Lois. We have gone to Tony Romas for birthdays and anniversaries frequently ever since. Today, Lois’ birthday we went to Tony Romas near Polo Park and had a great meal and the waiter was the best. Knowing it was Lois’ birthday, he called over another waiter who sang “happy birthday “ in full voice. We thanked him very much and I told him we have been coming to Tony Romas for years and that many years ago we had a waiter at the downtown restaurant who entertained us with finger puppets. He reached into his apron and produced some finger puppets just like the ones he had entertained us with so many years ago. All these years later he’s still doing it and it was one of the reasons we’ve continued to go to Tony Romas for so many years.“

“We typically go to the Clay Oven on Kenaston as a treat occasionally. We've been going there since their first location opened on Inkster and we always enjoyed it until the last time we were there. We usually order their Thali platters. This time we ordered a Lamb and Chicken Thai platter with the cumin potatoes as one of the sides. It was terrible. The potatoes were half cooked and hard with no flavor. The rice was flavorless as well. Seeing that we always enjoyed it until now we're definitely not going back again. Seeing it's kinda of expensive it's a treat for us we were sadly disappointed.“

“I am not one to write reviews very often. On a whim, I took my daughter to OG on a busy friday evening. We were seated within 5 minutes. Then came along our server. His name was Abdullah T.
So polite, kind, understanding, caring and most importantly patient. My daughter is 11 and she is very shy. He made her experience so so great. I was super impressed with how he handled her shyness. By the end, he had her smiling and showing pictures of our cat. He insisted on boxing our food for us. 100/100. Thank you so much for such a wonderful dining experience! I hope that everyone has the pleasure of having Abdullah as their server!!!!!“

“We celebrated our wedding anniversary at this cozy, family-owned Italian restaurant, and it was amazing!
The food was delicious—authentic and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, but what really made the night special was our server, Tim. He was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. We'll definitely be back!“

“My friends and I went for breakfast at the end of January. We had a reservation and were seated by the window with no issues. Everything was delicious, but the real star was our server, Ariella. She was able to answer all of our questions with full certainty and calm; she was knowledgeable about substitutions and made some great suggestions like adding the lemon curd butter to a different meal in order to still enjoy the flavour. Always a heavy pizza when you pick up the box. You definitely get what you pay for. Regular and gluten free both are super good. Definitely a go to when I’m in the area. 10/10.

“Tonight we had one of the best customer service experiences we’ve had in long time. Menchie is an absolute angel!!! We had our friends over who are expecting their first baby. Decided to order in desert but when we finished the selection and went to order on skip, the store was closed for orders - by two minutes. We decided to phone to see if there was any way to let the order go through but they explained that is controlled by skip the dishes. To make a long story short, when they heard it was for a pregnant, newly expecting mother, Menchie offered to personally deliver our order after their shift ended and the store closed. They even threw in extra goodies at no added cost! Absolutely amazing! And of course, everything was delicious.“

“No matter who I bring here we all enjoy the meals ordered. The veggies are just saulted slightly as I like them. Sometimes we even indulge and have spring rolls - delicious! The only issue I have if we're always given NUMBERS for pick up but they aren't used. The call out what was ordered but because of the language you don't register until a couple of calls or one is acknowledged from behind the counter. It would be do much easier I think if you just called the numbers!“
