We had chicken korma, cheese naan, king prawn masala curry, Kashmiri naan and rice. Enough leftovers for lunch the next day.

Our second time here last night. Most excellent food and awesome service. If you have never had Indian food, you need to try this place, you will love it.

My friend's Lamb Vindaloo was excellent and I really enjoyed the Vegetarian Thali (the perfect size for lunch). The new Latte recipe was different but delicious. And I really enjoyed interacting with our server. She was fun and engaging.

The Taste of Spice restaurant in Portage la Prairie truly impressed me with its incredibly tasty Indian dishes prepared with traditional flavors. The food was cooked to perfection, showcasing authentic Indian cuisine that left my taste buds dancing with delight.

Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was also top-notch. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the wonderful dining experience. I felt welcomed and valued as a customer throughout my visit.

I can't wait to go back to Taste of Spice and savor more of their delectable dishes. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine or looking to try something new and delicious, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

This was an absolutely amazing experience, could not have been happier. The waitress was so knowledgeable of the food, flavors and spice levels it was helpful for anyone who has little knowledgeable of the food. We dined in and the overall experience was so nice. The owner was walking around and chatting and we talked to him for 15 mins after the meal. I would recommend this to anyone from any area if you are traveling to or through Portage ls Prairie.

Very good food and friendly knowledgeable service. With a great selection of authentic Indian dishes I was unfamiliar with many of the names but our server took the time to explain some of them and recommend ones which would suit our tastes. The food was served in reasonable time considering they make everything from scratch and flavourful. Also the restaurant is located right along the main avenue with plentiful nearby parking or on the street in front and the restaurant beautiful inside with lots of good ambience. Highly recommend.

Staff is very nice, I went for Christmas for the whole buffet of tasty food. I did like about 3 dishes I gave them a 7 of 10 in my head, some I would been 6. I eat this type of food a lot of have reference point i go by. The atmosphere was pretty good I felt very comfortable, the karokee was pretty good also, the hostest (owner?) was very very good and she spent each moment in that room making sure everything was running good, I could tell she is dedicated to her crafts. To me a couple dishes that contained chicken seemed dry, but they were very busy (and kept the dishes refilled and the did empty fast). The bar chairs are bit cramed on the second floor when I went, needs a tiny more space between tables felt a bit like a Sardine and was hard to move around.
