the food was great and so was the service but my main problem with this place was that my server was clearly extremely sick while working. im having troubles remembering her name but she was a blonde young girl. i felt disgusted that someone so sick was handling my food. as a restaurant this place should not be having their staff work while sick. YOU SERVE FOOD BE SANITARY!!

Went there for the wing night with fam. We ordered wings and some appetizers. Waited for an hr and food was not coming. We made a follow up and found out our order was NOT entered in the system by the girl who took our order. WTH! It's so dissapointing! We Just walked out. We will never comeback again! Worse service ever!!!

Unsure if I’ll ever return.EVER. We’d given this place MANY chances during dog shows but this time topped it off as our worst experience yet.
Night 1 they said 20 min wait for food. Turned into just over an hour…for a quesadilla and spinach dip….and dip tasted like dirt. I didn’t even eat it, the quesadilla seemed fine.

Second night we did eat in, give them another chance. I asked for shaker fries with boneless bites and ended up with chips, and no less bites that lacked sauce…..my mother got a quesadilla with regular fries and was given a soggy, not even cooked quesadilla with seasoned fries that she didn’t even order. Sent back and was given a half rock hard quesadilla in return.

I decided I wanted just shaker fries so we went up and waiting about 40 mins after being given drinks for the waiter to return to take our food order. We decided we were NOT eating after that long of a wait, and arranged to go to the steakhouse instead. We then waited another 40 mins…he didn’t ask about refilling our EMPTY drinks after noticing them nothing. Asked for the bill and still had to wait 35 mins for that. There was 2 other tables. Both had their food and had to CALL OUT to the server in order for him to even come to their tables.

Never again. Such terrible service.

I come in with my partner during the slow time so its not even busy and the servers are way to slow. Had to ask for a straw twice and still had to get it myself. Drinks are terribly made and don't taste right (way to much milk in the espresso martini that it just tasted like milk and was missing the coffee bean that shows on their menu) the food was way undercooked and some parts were overcooked (got the streak and fries with the Guinness gravy). the wings are dry and underdauced aswell. I asked for something else and they left the undercooked food on the table until my partner had to ask her to take it away. Not sure if the servers and bartenders are new here but they're definitely not doing their jobs very well. Won't be coming back here.

Went in to watch the jets game, food was fast, looked and tasted great! Service was prompt and friendly. Nice change up from the last few times we’ve been in recently.

Definitely would recommend!! Good food Good prices good service!! was slow night so atmosphere was a tad lonely with just us an 3 or 4 other tables

2 couples came for dinner. We ordered starters plus our meals. Our friends got their starters and nothing for us. Asked the waitress where our appetizer was, she' said your friends said they wanted starters, you didn't say anything. I said they are called starters for a reason and we ordered our meals, definitely didn't want all that at once. Manager gave us appetizers for free to take home, that was very nice. Food was good.

We hosted a golf tournament "pre-event" for 31 people at the Tavern in Portage.Staff, service and food/beverage quality were all great. They were ready for our arrival and served us very well for the duration of the evening.If ever in Portage, I'd highly recommend the Tavern as the place to go!Thanks Wes and team - hope to see you again in the future!

Went to watch the jets game here and ordered a beer, there was a piece of glass in my drink that got in my mouth and cut my tongue. Told the waitress and asked to talk to the manager but the waitress couldn’t care less and she never got the manager.
