Our server gloria was terrible, she wasn’t friendly or attentive, we didn’t get a refill, took over 30 minutes for us to order our food on a SLOW night

Go there on wing night sometimes and its a hit and miss. Waitress are not great either either. Get it together portage tavern

Was hesitant to go at first after reading reviews, but turned out to be not as bad as they say. Everything tasted like bar food usually does everywhere. Service was good, came and checked multiple times about drinks / food.

I normally wouldn’t write a review, but I feel customers should be aware. I have firsthand knowledge of the restaurant, and I’ve seen roaches in both the kitchen and the bar area. While I was told it’s being “dealt with,” it did not appear to be handled thoroughly or urgently.
Service can also be inconsistent. There are times when servers are more focused on chatting with each other or being on their phones rather than attending to tables. Orders are sometimes incorrect, and service can come across as slow or dismissive.
I’m sharing this because cleanliness and customer service matter. I hope management takes this seriously and improves the standards.

Absolutely terrible. Waited almost an hour for hour for food and when it finally came out wing orders were completely mixed together. One guy at our table didn’t even get his food so he left. None of this was our waiter’s fault he did great with the horrible help he received.

Had the bacon burger and fries with gravey. Was really good. Server was awesome, fast and friendly. We drove from Toronto to the super 8 next door. Was 4 of us and no one took pictures to tired to think.

the food was great and so was the service but my main problem with this place was that my server was clearly extremely sick while working. im having troubles remembering her name but she was a blonde young girl. i felt disgusted that someone so sick was handling my food. as a restaurant this place should not be having their staff work while sick. YOU SERVE FOOD BE SANITARY!!

Went there for the wing night with fam. We ordered wings and some appetizers. Waited for an hr and food was not coming. We made a follow up and found out our order was NOT entered in the system by the girl who took our order. WTH! It's so dissapointing! We Just walked out. We will never comeback again! Worse service ever!!!
