“Went there with my boyfriend today. We ordered takeout, so I can’t speak on the buffet, but everything we got tasted fresh and well made.
One thing we both noticed right away was how clean the place was. Like genuinely clean. We even commented on it while waiting for the food. As someone who works in food service myself, that’s always something I pay attention to.
The portions were HUGE too. We both love food and usually finish everything no problem, but this time we only made it halfway through before giving up.
We came right at opening and the restaurant was already almost full, which honestly says a lot on its own. It feels like one of those local family run spots that has a loyal customer base for a reason.
I’ve seen some negative reviews mentioning food safety concerns, but personally I’ve eaten here more than once now and never had any issues. Everything tasted fresh both times.
Will definitely be coming back. The only thing I wish they had is congee because I’d order that instantly it’s my favourite, but it’s just personal presence and outside of that super great experience!“
