“When traveling we prefer to support locally owned and try and avoid our money going to internationally owned chains. This restaurant has homemade features that are tasty and well worth the extra few block drive off the main drag. My burger was very tasty and tender, a homemade patty.There is also a wonderful coffee shop across the street for that ‘to go’ coffee and maybe dessert to continue your travels.”

“Delicious! Staff are helpful and friendly. I bought doughnuts, cookie sandwiches and cupcakes. Once I got home, I wished I had bought more. Everything was amazing. Try this bakery out right away.”

“NOW THATS A SANDWICH ARTIST!The lady who made my sandwich did an amazing job. Put the toppings on properly so there was an even mix in every bite. She put the sauce on and closed it with love and care so the toppings/ sauce didn't come out. Watching you make my sandwich was a pleasure. Usually I cringe watching them squash everything together and put the toppings on all willy nilly, sauce all over the wrapper when they close it. I wish I wasn't just passing through Virden because it was the best sub I've ever had in a subway. Thankyou for taking some pride in your work, it shows. I appreciate you.”

“Great tasting pizza. Was a tad burnt but very delicious nonetheless. Had to wait about 10min after being told order would be ready when I arrived. I had ordered a normal order 45min previous. Would go here again if needs be”

“I really like the Chicken Chef chain of restaurants, good hardworking people, providing a quality product at a fair price. Always delicious, always, friendly, fast and clean. I have never had a bad meal at Virden or Portage LaPrairie locations.”
