I had not been to Affinity for more than 20 years, and was very excited about going back. I was not disappointed. The food tasted great and the service was excellent!

Honestly such a gem of downtown winnipeg! The folks that run this place are so sweet and the food is so delicious.I've been coming to Affinity for probably about 10 years sporadically, and every time I come I wonder why I waited so long. The lunch buffet on Tuesday and Thursday is my favorite as you can try a variety of foods and you pay by weight. When I eat at a normal buffet I feel obligated to eat way too much to get my money worth . This format is much better as I do not over eat ?Plus as a 97% vegetarian I am so happy to be able to eat everything off the menu or buffet without having to stick to a few menu items like other restaurants.Over the years the food quality has stay consistent and same with the portion sizes!Everyone I bring here loves it as much as I do!Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan so you don't need to worry about picking from the same 5 items every time you come!

I tried this place out for the first time during VegOut and I was impressed. I'm updating my review because this has become a favourite place of mine. The lemon chicken is my go to, and when they have the pan fried veggie buns those are a must try as well! Updated from previous review on 2023-08-18

Vegetarian options: The full menu is vegetarian. All items mentioning meat (chicken, steak, pork, etc.) or seafood (shrimp, etc.) are substitutes, not actually made from animals.Wheelchair accessibility: Completely wheelchair accessible. While the floor in front of the entrance is slightly raised, there is a sloped area right next to it.I went with my disabled uncle with no issue.

Recommended dishes: Crispy Veggie Balls, Chow Mein

The crispy "oysters" were an interesting appetizer, I liked them but other people in my party didn't. It did remind me of seafood, which was nice. The Sweet & Sour Veggie Ribs were a big disappointment, there was just dough and very little "ribs". The sauce was good, though. The pineapple fried rice was good and so was the crispy veggie fish. While many items are marked as vegetarian, we asked and they said the restaurant is 100% vegan. For people with little kids: there is no changing table in either washroom (they do have high chairs though).

I've brought multiple non-vegans and picky eaters here over the year...have never gotten any complaints. Delicious food and lovely staff.

An excellent restaurant with a calm, casual ambience. Everything we ordered was superb. The standard for vegan restaurants is high! Highly recommend the wontons in spicy sauce—absolutely incredible. Also pictured are the hot and sour soup and sesame seaweed tofu sheets.

So good!! We were looking for a restaurant with vegan options and stumbled over this gem... Originally meant to try more things in Winnipeg but had to come back the next day haha the dinner for 2 is huge and lasted us for another meal, also very tasty! Their gluten balls will haunt our dreams forever now though :D might have to take another trip across the pond one day.
