We got a weird vibe here. The owner were super friendly at first — until we committed the ultimate crime… asking for more sauce 😅 We were given a thimble-sized refill, and when we asked again, the owner literally pointed out the few drops left in our bowl like, “use those first.”
To top it off, when paying the bill, my husband had three lonely pieces of cauliflower left and she told him to finish them before paying. I wish I was kidding 😂

My favorite restaurant as a teen and young adult. Returned for a meal for the first time in over a decade and the food and atmosphere were just as I remembered. An absolute gem of a restaurant and cannot wait to return next time I visit Winnipeg. The steamed veggie fish with the thin sliced ginger is a must try!
Fantastic buffet, but don’t get there too late. It runs until 2 but we got there at 1:15 last time and they had stopped putting stuff out so they were out of a lot and what was there was cold.
