I have tried many different Middle Eastern cuisine restaurants in Winnipeg (Ramallah, Baraka, Next stop, and many more), Ashur is by far the best. The service is out of this world. My first time visiting with my father, we were brought complimentary baklava fresh out of the oven. The chicken shawarma is out of this world, and the bread is soft and supple and flavourful. 10/10 would reccomend.

I had the lamb shank at Ashur Restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection—so tender that it fell right off the bone, with rich flavors that showed it had been slow-cooked with care. The seasoning was well-balanced, not overpowering, and complemented the natural taste of the lamb beautifully.

The portion was generous, and it came with sides that made the meal even more satisfying. Presentation was also on point—it looked...
