Stopped in Gimli a few days ago on a road trip from Alberta and grabbed lunch at the fish market, absolutely worth the detour. The pickerel and chips were fresh and perfectly fried, not greasy at all like some tourist spots. Staff behind the counter were friendly and gave us tips on where to walk along the harbor after eating. Sat outside on the picnic tables around 1pm with a view of the lake and it made for one of the best meals of the whole trip.
They have great products. I bought a shrimp ring and lobster bisque. I was told about the type of shrimp which was helpful since I was taking it to a party.
Nice, clean place to get sashimi grade salmon! My favorite!
