After hearing about colleague raving how good it was, I decided to check it out. While it was a pretty good burger (Philly Cheese), and the chips were flavourful, it was pretty expensive at $23. The burger was not hot either. The best thing about it was is close by work, and it was available instantly already in the box to go (which may account for why it was warm, not hot). Will not be going back, better off getting a better burge at Johnny G's or Sals nearby if you're not pressed for time.

Great burgers and friendly service. Rotating specialty burger always surprises. My last one was a poutine burger topped with curds and gravy.

Was ok for the burger, a bit on the pricier side. Good to try but for the price could find cheaper elsewhere.

Overpriced for a cold burger on a dry bun with a handful of chips...

A different experience, when you get to the door you realize that you only have one hamburger option for that day, but the hamburger is delicious, the delivery of the hamburgers is very fast and the seasoning is excellent, highly recommended.

It is an excellent opportunity to escape from work for a few minutes and enjoy something different, I will definitely return

My first visit this year. Very happy to see it has been extended to Tuesday also. Today I was able to bring my hubby to enjoy with me, I have spouted my delight on other occasion with these meals, so much so that he was eager to be able to partake. Todays buttermilk chicken burger with kettle chips did not disappoint. The bun was soft, buttery and light. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy inside with just a hint of heat, and tons of flavour. While the price is a little high $20/each, it is well worth it. You will not be disappointed. Line at 11:30 was a bit long, but when we came back an hour later we were served right away and were on our way very quickly.

The best lunch experience you can have in downtown Winnipeg. The staff is amazing and the courtyard is so beautiful lots of space to sit outside in the sun with your friends. The burger is different weekly, I'll always come here every Thursday. Backdoor Burgers for life!! Thank you Fairmont Winnipeg!!

Tried this place for the first time for my birthday last Thursday. I was not disappointed. It is a little more on the pricey side but definitely delivers on the promise of a gourmet burger. I love the high quality they deliver considering how many other places make burgers.

What a novel concept! Long line was a great way to pass the time and chat with colleagues and those around us. Only about a 20 min wait. The burger was great! House made Chips were super too.For those who expect a piping hot burger and linen napkins should relax and go sit at the overpriced steakhouse around the corner. This is a fun and neat way to celebrate summer in Winnipeg and get out of the office on a Thursday for lunch! Super experience. The team served the burgers with a smile. Energy is great with tunes playing! We will be back. Different feature every week!

This was not the best burger I'd ever tasted, despite the fact that it's now trending on the internet. The burger tasted OK, but it was cold and the chips on the side were charred. That was to be anticipated given that it was a pre-packaged burger. It was not worth the long wait in line. It's a hyped-up establishment serving cold burgers.I believe Winnipeg has better burger places.

Backdoor Burgers are the best! You'll know where you're going because of the long line - but don't worry, that line moves super fast. When you get up to the front, the super friendly team will sell you the weekly burger, with the best homemade fries, and a drink for just $19. Every week the menu changes and every week the burger is delicious. There are a ton of fresh ingredients used and you can tell that the Chef has fun putting together a delicious burger recipe each week. I appreciate that every week is different and honestly, I don't even look at the menu before I go as I know it will be tasty!Don't miss out on this summer staple! It's a great experience that you can have every Thursday!

I LOVE Backdoor Burgers at the Fairmont! Each week, they have an inventive and delicious burger feature that highlights fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Always fresh, ALWAYS delicious! The staff are lovely and so super organized. Don’t be deterred if there’s a long line when you arrive - it moves quickly! This is one of my favourite winnipeg summer traditions <3
