Meh. The food was mediocre but the service was excellent. The ceasar salad was served with yellow lettuce and the asparagus in the pasta was barely green. I understand it's March in Winnipeg but I've seen fresher produce at the grocery store. The pastas would have been exceptional with some additional seasoning but we're cooked to perfection. Probably won't be back but glad I tried.

This is a fantastic restaurant. It isn't very large or loud but isn't cramped, the staff were incredibly personable and knowledgeable, and the food is of exceptional quality. To boot, the serving sizes for the entrées (which are intended to be shared) were decent, one per person is decently satisfying. I also highly recommend paying attention to their weekly features, I had a stellar tagliatelle with mushroom, asparagus, and shrimp in a cream sauce.

There’s something about Mary. She greeted us with effortless charm, her superior social capability casting a warm vibe over our table. She served our drinks with enthusiasm, telling my girlfriend she hoped she liked her cocktail because she “made it herself”, like she was initiating my date into a great friendship. Delicious food arrived on time. The server said he really needed to dip because our lamb chops were too tantalizing for him to stand. The food was delicious. My girlfriend gives it an 8.8. I give it a 9.0. This concluded an enchanting Valentine’s Day evening.

Portions were great size. I like how the pastas are large enough if you wanted to share. They have 10 house made gelati flavours that do change up throughout the seasons, get the flight so you can try at least 5 of them 😛.
Great spot for a date, a friendly get together or some low-key dining.

My husband and I ate at BORGO for The first time on NYE. What a night of fantastic food and exceptional service by Mike!! Every bite was a delicious and mouth watering experience! We had a 5 star experience at Borgo Antico! The food was authentic, flavorful —truly a taste of Italy. But what really made the evening unforgettable was our server, Mary. She was friendly, attentive, and had such a warm personality that made us feel completely at home. It worth taking a taxi to this warm restaurant with exceptional cuisine. One of the best Lentil soup I have ever had, my Spaghetti al olió with beef with a perfect temperature, texture and flavor. I love it! Adorable service! I definitely would come back!
